Dental tech there quite outdated compared to other facilities that can do more with X-rays and computer-assisted 3D modeling. Dental assistant always had a sour attitude at every appointment until Jeffrey did the cleanings himself.

I have been going to Dr. Riesburg for over 15 years now. I lived in the city, Wrigleyville to be…read moreexact. I therefore went to a local Chicago dentist in order to receive some typical yearly work. This establishment was the worst dentist I had ever visited as they filled teeth that did not have cavities and exploited their services as such. The worst ended with a file being left in my tooth after a root canal that they deemed necessary. At any rate, I digress. I then turned to Dr. Riesburg since he was in the same neighborhood as my employer at the time. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Riesburg. He is honest and all telling. I later found out the tooth that needed assistance didn't even need help. There was nothing wrong with the tooth! (Note: I had to extract said tooth and get an implant. Chicago dentist refused to compensate me even after I attempted to litigate. I was therefore forced to pay out of pocket for this whole experience. I would not wish this upon anyone as it truly was disadvantageous). Dr. Riesburg helped me with my misfortune throughout everything. He has stuck by me, and is very personable throughout. He is a dentist who actually cares, hence why I travel an hour up north to enjoy his services. He has now taken care of all 3 of my children, especially when my now two year old had broken her front tooth while jumping from couch to coffee table. Do you know who was willing to be exposed to an X-ray whilest taking the pic? Dr. Riesburg! Best dentist ever and the reason while my family of 5 continue to drive to fabulous Highland Park to reach him! His services, personality, and professional atmosphere will continue to make us want to be there. Side note: Erin has been there for some time and we also love her. She ensures everything is in order and cares about her patients. This is an exceptional team and I continue to utilize their services!!!!!!!

What a horrible experience from a physician with an incredible superiority complex. Both my wife…read moreexperienced Dr. Campin arriving 25 minutes late to an appointment without taking any accountability nor offering an apology. In my situation, he was aware I was unhappy with his lateness and walked in staying: 'Happy Chanukah, Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas!' (I kid you not!) When I stated that our appointment was for 9 am, he told me I should Google this procedure and I would see that it is estimated to be 45 minutes on average. So, he was not late to show up in the middle of the procedure. He then falsely accused me of being belligerent with his staff. I challenged him regarding this accusation and asked him to ask his staff if I was inappropriate with any of my discussions with them. At first, he asked them to come into the exam room but then closed the door and said that they were busy. At one point during our heated discussion, he moved his face within 5 inches of mine and asked me if I thought I was a tough guy. I reminded him on several occasions that I was the paying customer and his lack of concern about his treatment of me was shocking. He told me that I should find another dentist after we were done with this procedure and I assured him I had already made that decision as a result of the manner in which he treated me. Interestingly, his receptionist and dental assistant knocked on the door and walked into the exam room. We asked them if I had treated either of them with disrespect or belligerence. They both said no and he responded by saying that they were in a bad position to have to answer that question. He was right. But not because of me. Since that appointment, in reflecting on my experience with Dr. Campin, something became clear to me that this was not the dentist I needed to be handling my dental care nor that of my family. For the longest time, we were being handled by another dentist in this practice, Dr. Jasmeet Brar. She was a rockstar. What my wife and I remembered most during my visits was the wonderful conversations Dr. Brar had with her assistants and hygienists during our appointments. She asked them about their weekends or upcoming plans and listened to them with such sincerity. Unfortunately, Dr. Brar has left for what I assume is a much better situation. In my first appointment with Dr. Campin, I noted that he did not talk WITH his team but AT his team. It was a different vibe. At my second appointment, while I was in the chair, he was blaming his team for the mis-delivery of my crown in a very deprecating tone which was very inappropriate and disrespectful to be done in front of a patient. We will miss Ivy and Rachel and many of the other members of the team that took care of us but we will not miss Dr. Campin and his arrogance and mistreatment of his patients. Just when I had hoped this was over, I requested our dental records to be transferred to our new dentist. I received a message that the records were being held until I paid the invoice for my last service which I had just received earlies that day. Unfortunately, I had to remind Dr. Campin that it is against Federal HIPPA and Illinois state laws to withhold transferring medical records for an outstanding invoice. Fortunately, he did transfer our records after I shared this information with him.

Dr Campin told me he would fix an issue I was having free of charge except for lab and materials-- around $300. Two days later, his receptionist called with the news that he and his hygienist determined that it would cost $850. First, it was gutless to for him to have his receptionist call me instead of him directly. Second, once I confronted him directly on the phone he denied using the words "free of charge quote. Is chairside manner is unprofessional and he said some inappropriate things to his hygienist while I was in the chair. I knew I would never go back, and once I found a new dentist and requested my records sent over there, of course camping sent only a partial amount of my records. This is not a nice guy. This is not a professional man. This is not some one I would trust as my dentist.
