Dr Weiner is professional, calm and knowledgeable. He eased my concrrns and helped me with a plan to treat the issue. He is an excellent doctor! Highly recommend! read more

Very Dissapointed in this doctor, I went to Cedar Sinai Urgent Care in Beverly Hills. I came for Migraine/Sinus Headaches thats prolonged for 2 weeks now. But Basically he is very Rude and condescending. He made me feel stupid for asking questions, he seemed defensive as if I was suggesting he was wrong when I'm just trying to find solutions. I couldn't have a simple conversation. At one point he seemed irritated for repeating himself... He also made it seem like I was only there to get antibiotics, he kept saying if you do A B AND C you can fix the problem without antibiotics! And I'm like okay ? I already agreed on no antibiotics why are you still bringing it up? As If I was fighting him about it when I'm no doctor! How would I know? Overall very rude, if I go back I will make sure I ask which doctors are working that day because I would not want to see him again! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Weiner for about a decade. At one point because of insurance changes, I had to see another doc for a couple years, but I'm grateful to be able to see him again. He's genuine, honest, explains everything you need to know, answers all my sometimes-many questions, and doesn't just prescribe medications because you think you need it after doing too much research on WebMD. I appreciate his approach to medicine - he really cares about me and my individual health needs. Also - on the Cedar's app - he's very attentive. I cannot be any more grateful for Dr. Weiner's expertise in keeping me healthy, alive, and thriving. Truly. read more

If you don't take all the unnecessary pills he will try and prescribe for you, he gets upset. Then eventually he will give you a referral to another physician. I believe he was a new doctor when I was seeing him. My main take away about the quality of his care was rude, discourteous, unprofessional, judgmental, didn't seem to care at all. Just push those pills! I don't want this to sound like a personal attack. It was just a very low quality of healthcare that was provided. His attitude didn't help either. read more

Dr. Weiner is terrible. I sought help from him for ongoing migraines, and he withheld xray results, he prescribes medication and kicks you out of his office. He has yelled at me in office, and gotten into verbal arguments when I don't understand his diagnosis, or disagree with what he says. He is unwilling to have a conversation, and educate me on my treatments. He is friendly until you ask for other options, in which case, he becomes sarcastic and rude. I will not return to his office. I will not let him treat me again. With things that he's done, he could be sued for malpractice. But, you're welcome, Dr. Weiner: I will settle for a bad yelp review. Thanks for nothing, sir. read more

cool, laid back but very efficient Cancer specialist from USC, Cedars-senai associated. I really like the staff who try their best to get you in or will find an other great doctor. Great doctor!!! read more

After avoiding doctors for a good portion of my 20's, I had finally decided it was time for a health check overhaul. Physical, bloodwork, shots, you name it! I took my sweet time shopping around for a doctor because i wanted one that suited me, which included someone laid back, younger, might be able to relate to me and what im going through, wouldnt throw pills at me, and knew what they were doing! I couldn't have made a better choice with Dr. Weiner! The guy was exactly what i was looking for. Listened well, addressed my problems, had a sense of humor and related with me. His staff was excellent too and they are definitely a classy operation. They set me up with my own online medical profile, did in-house bloodwork (thank god i didnt have to wait a half a day in another office just trying to get blood taken) and had my results posted on my online profile within 2 days, along with doctor commentary. I even sent a message to Dr. Weiner through the profile at 11:30 at night and he had responded within 10 minutes. Truly a very professional practice and the best service i've received. And though i'm hoping not to ever really have to see much of the doc, i definitely place my trust with him and his staff. Thanks again! read more

Avoid this "doctor" and his office at all costs. He is unprofessional and has poor bedside manner and a lack of empathy for patients. Cedars is huge - you're better off finding another doctor. read more

Doctor W is the man. He is not the scientist type of doc on a mission to come up with a name for what you think you have. he's a down to earth, family Med type of doc. He is the MD you goto when you have a brutal cold or need a low key std test asap bc you make poor decisions at night lol. If you have a terminal illness or are a hypochondriac you may want to go somewhere else. Basically- if you are not a pain in the ass, he will not be a pain in the ass. ** however if you have an actual pain in your ass you may want to see a specialist. read more

Best Doctor ever, since Dr. Harvey. Always a great experience with Dr. Weiner.

I have been going to Dr. Weiner for close to 8 years, been very happy with his work and his approach to taking care of me. I have referred him to others who use him as well. read more

OUTSTANDING. When I had to change my health insurance plan, I made sure to get one that covered Dr. Weiner because he has been consistently excellent since I started seeing him about a decade ago. He never keeps me waiting, and he is extremely patient listening to and answering any questions I might have. I never feel like I'm being rushed when I'm with him or any or his staff, yet everything seems to be quick and painless, too. GREAT bedside manner and he never makes me feel bad for being, well, bad. read more

Great Doctor! I hate going to the doctor and hadn't been for a check up in years. Probably would have postponed going for another 10 years if I didn't need a referral. Dr. Weiner is super nice and made me feel totally at ease. He was a great listener and I never felt he was rushing me along. I wish all doctors were like him. He even responds to you via email when you write to him. Nobody does that! I am actually looking forward to my next check up. Gosh, I can't believe I said that. Great doc in Beverly Hills. read more

I haven't used him very much as a doctor to give an in depth review. But, for the general check ups he was fine. His service team on the other hand is a little off. Why do I feel like I'm talking to a 17 year old on the phone? It was difficult for the staff to simply communicate appointment times. read more

Dr. Weiner does not provide any assistance regarding what medicine he prescribes and he is indecisive as to what to prescribe you as if he does not know what he is doing. Dr. Weiner comes into the room and explains that I don't need anti-bitotics to treat my strep but I informed him that my last doctor sent in my culture to the lab to determine if the quick test didn't work. After another question he changed his mind and decided to prescribe me anti-biotics. I asked him why the sudden change and why he refused to send in my culture to see If I really need antiobiotics but he refused to explain anything. Dr. Weiner is not attentive with his patient's nor does he care about them. I highly discourage anyone switching to this doctor. Lastly the medical staff is horrible. The nurse greets you walks you into the room as if she is doing you a favor. Everyone in the office is in a horrible mood from the nurse to the ladies at the front desk who are gossiping the whole time. The environment at this office is very unprofessional and once again highly discourage anyone who is sick being attended to a staff that is not there to care for you but is doing you a favor. Everyone in the office is pessimistic and hostile. read more

During my consultation, i explained that I had been chronically ill for over 25 years, with all sorts of diseases including cancer. I mentioned I was looking for new primary provider would would take the extra effort to find the root of my health issues. He was pleasant to talk to, but did not follow through. After the initial blood screening, there was no follow up for him or anyone else in his office. Not impressed... probably great for a cold or something minor, but if your really ill find someone who will make an effort. read more

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. I find Dr. Weiner to be easily accessible, friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. He is efficient and to the point, which I appreciate. I can understand why some people might not like his bedside manner, but it's very much my style. read more

Dr. Weiner has been an attentive and responsive primary care doctor -- always on time, and knowledgeable on current health issues. Highly recommended and access to all the resources at Cedars read more

I must say, Dr. Weiner is a great doctor! He always comes in with a smile, and for the past 5 years I have being seeing him, he ALWAYS spends as much time with me as needed when I have an office visit. He answers all questions and gives thorough answers. He is a gentle man and has a great manner that is not usually seen in todays doctors. Very happy to say that his staff is friendly and #1 in my books as well! read more

Have been going to him for 10 + years and he and his staff have always been wonderful and accommodating! It took many years to find the right doctor - very thankful! read more

Been with Jonathan Weiner for longer than I care to remember. He's the best. And his referrals for specialty care are also top notch. Could not recommend more highly. read more

Nice guy, but seems to like referring to specialists instead of looking up information that may help you without having to pay another $20 to go to another doctor. Also, referred me to Dr. Rosenberg that was arrested for insurance fraud. Not saying he knew anything about that, but still, made me switch to another primary. read more

Every Doctor has a front line of defence and he/she is the person who represents that Doctor. He maybe a great Doctor but his staff (Joalla) is less than desirable. After three back to back attempts, she has not been able to relay a correct message to Doctor Weiner for me. When I call back she starts to argue which leaves one even more aggravated. He maybe a fantastic Doctor, but he may wishes to check his support or at least get a voice mail. read more

Great doctor. Very smart, funny, an capable. Witty, but caring. And extremely ethical, oftenttimes not even to my preference. five stars. read more

Cool doc. I can't complain. His staff is great and I always get what I need when I give them a call. Only drawback was that I had to wait about 40 min the first time I went for an appt but I guess that's not all that uncommon. Other than that, he's pretty chill but gets right to the point. read more

Dr. Weiner is a throwback to one of those Norman Rockwell doctors who actually gives a shit about the welfare of this patients, and isn't about the turn and burn. Been with him for more than five years now and he is always available for whatever you need (within limits of course). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a primary caregiver. read more

I was nervous picking my new primary doctor with my new HMO. But it all turned out very well. I really am pleased with Dr. Weiner and his staff. Also the imaging center at Cedars was top notch. Thank you! read more

Dr. Weiner is nice and a good doctor. But do not expect him to see you at your scheduled appointment time. Every time I have visited him I have arrived early and the earliest I have been seen is 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Usually I am called by the nurse 30 minutes after the appointment is scheduled and then wait for 15 to 20 minutes in the examining room before I actually see Dr. Weiner. Nice guy, but he has very little respect for his patient's time. When I ask the staff about the wait the only answer, "just a few more minutes." read more

I saw Dr. Weiner many times and recently switched doctors. He has a bad bedside manner and has a short fuse. He is quick to offer meds of all kinds but doesn't provide proper care with options. Also yells at his front office personnel. read more

I can't explain the few negative reviews. They certainly don't describe the doctor I've been seeing for many, many years. He is almost always available, at the office, on the phone and by e-mail. He is open, warm and very knowledgeable. I am very thankful I have him as my doctor. read more

Dr. Wiener has great bedside manner and answers all your questions. He takes his time. Highly recommended. I had an off-hours problem and they got right back to me. read more

Wish I could give him 0 stars. Worst Doctor I have ever been to in my entire life. I'm 35. Been seeing him for two years. Be warned. (My father is also a doctor.) If you have no health problems, it's a fun first visit. If you want medication, just ask. He will prescribe it without asking questions. He also laughed at me and my husband when we had concerns about my health. He laughed like I was a 5 year old asking for some ice cream. I got a referral from him for a GI, saw the GI, and kindly asked him to follow up with him so they together could "work together" to figure out the best way to proceed as I was concerned about the tests they wanted to run on me. He told me to call another GI, as mine was now on vacation. One line response. I once asked him for a referral for a heart doctor and he told me I didn't need one, "I'm your heart doctor!" He said. Didn't even ask why. I was so baffled, I never followed up. I then emailed him about having to go to the ER after speaking to his on call doc the night prior. He commented back on another note of mine and ignored my "I'm going to the ER" comment. He does not care about his patients. He cares about fighting his doctor friends malpractice lawsuits and getting paid $1,000 an hour to testify against the patient. (Oh yes, he loves getting paid to testify against patients, he told me how much he made because it was "way higher in LA than in Boston" - where my dad is a doctor.) If you want a friend, take him to dinner. If you want to live, do NOT go to him. read more

I tried to see Dr. Weiner for a year, hoping each time to get proper care. Each time I was met with distaste, and overall disorganization in the office. Granted I have a complicated medical condition, but when a patient does not feel safe in the hands of a doctor, one should seek another one. It became evident to me, when I went to see him simply for yearly blood work as I see other specialists for other conditions and do have a complicated medical history, that his accusatory nature, and horrible "bed manner" did nothing to make me feel calm or safe. He seemed to attach me verbally for my choices for seeing other doctors in the interim because I was scared that if I went to him I would not be treated well, and in honesty, I probably should not have gone back, but he was in my plan and I thought it was just easier. Lesson to be learned, if you get a bad vibe for a doctor or your gut says he won't take care of you, manage your care, stay on top of your diagnosis the way we have come to know and expect of Primary Care physicians, its probably better to find someone else. And as an informed patient who is an advocate for my own cases, has medical doctors in my family, I can say that he is not thorough, his experience truly seems limited from what I have seen, and hoping that referrals would be personal friends, and not just a call to the 1-800 number did not do anything to make me feel any safer. Mea Culpa for trying him again. Will not make the same mistake. read more
