I have been a consistent patient of Dr. Uremovich for the past two years, and I have intentionally…read morecontinued my care with her even after moving, often driving over 30 minutes to do so. Dr. Uremovich is an exceptional physician. She's thorough, consistent, and deeply focused on patient care. She always prioritizes comfort and professionalism, and I would rate my experience with her a 10/10 across the board. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff has significantly declined, particularly at the front desk. Over the past year, I have repeatedly observed unprofessional behavior from the receptionist, Laura. During multiple visits, she appeared more focused on scrolling on her phone, fixing her makeup, or slicking back her hair while using her phone as a mirror: than on checking in patients or processing paperwork efficiently. On my most recent visit, I stood at the check-in window for nearly 30 seconds while she finished adjusting her hair/ blush before even acknowledging me. Additionally, the use of a personal phone in plain view of patients' personal health information is concerning and reflects a serious lapse in professionalism and discretion. While I understand that everyone has moments during the workday, this level of comfort and repeated behavior is inappropriate in a medical setting. At my last appointment, I waited 35 minutes past my scheduled time in the lobby before being informed that Dr. Uremovich had been called away over an hour earlier to deliver a baby and would not be able to see me. I fully understand and respect the nature of OB care and emergencies; however, it was frustrating that this information was not communicated sooner. I had used PTO for this appointment and drove 45 minutes to and from work to attend it. When I asked whether patients are typically contacted in advance when their physician is unavailable, I was told, "I mean, we can, but that's not something I can really control sooo...". This response lacked any accountability or basic courtesy on her end. A simple phone call would have prevented any unnecessary inconvenience or frustration. While I continue to hold Dr. Uremovich in the highest regard, the lack of professionalism and hospitality at the front desk ultimately led me to discontinue care with this office. First impressions matter, and front-office staff set the tone for the entire patient experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it would be unfortunate for other patients to be lost due to completely avoidable administrative issues.

Scheduler doesn't explain charges, surprise bills show up weeks after visits of $120.00, just wondering how she charged me the initial amount I paid for, after the office visit for the ankle brace. I asked her how much it will be after my insurance coverage? She said $15, so I agreed. Just received the bill, 3 weeks later! I was scammed twice to buy a product they probably get for pennies. Talked to their person in charge of billing, she gave me a lesson, that it's my job to know what my policy covers. Okay! I called my insurance company, they were shocked that this office didn't bother to insurance verify. More over, they never even submitted a claim for the item. Not for this brace, not even for the boot I bought in January after my ankle was broken. I paid the amount I was told in the office, plus the "surprise" $121 emailed bill weeks after, that demands an online payment, with zero explanation. According to my insurance company, neither of these items were submitted for claims! Regardless if my policy covers the boot or the brace, they should have been submitted, AND explained to me if they weren't covered, given me a total prices of the cost to me! I would avoid this office for fraud! Are they just keeping the difference for profit, but lie of the first amount you make you pay! Of course it's nonrefundable, even though still in a box, because I bought it for my upcoming overseas vacation. $300 for an elastic brace and a boot! Everyone else can do better outside of this office! One of the x-ray technicians took 6 x-rays of my leg. Came into the waiting room, said oh, we need to take a few more x-rays. I forced the reason out of her, she said she took them of my leg, not the broken ankle! Obviously couldn't be bothered to look at my file to find out why was I even there in this office! 6 more x-rays it is. Never an admission of screw up, forget a simple sorry. Not a word. I skipped several "suggested" visits, because all we did was kept looking at my x-rays, kept watching my ankle heal. Like watching grass grow, for $60 a pop (my copay). Stayed in a boot, went for visit once every, or every other month. No, I did not feel cared for, but very much taken advantage of! My first and last visit ever in this office. I expect a call to change my review.

I called Magnolia OBGYN on 04/01 around 9:00 AM, concerned I was likely having a miscarriage due to severe symptoms. The front desk transferred me to Dr. Roth's medical assistant, who was kind and thorough in collecting my symptoms. She gave me guidance on what to watch for and said she would speak with Dr. Roth and follow up. A couple hours later, she called back to let me know that after speaking with Dr. Roth, the recommendation was to come in for bloodwork to check HCG levels and my blood type. I was also told Dr. Roth would not be available to see me for at least two weeks due to her schedule. I went in for the blood draw that same day, and that experience was quick and professional. On 04/02, I received a notification that my results were available, but I didn't hear anything from the office. I called back the next afternoon (04/03) and was told they would have the medical assistant review the results with me. As of now, nearly 48 hours later, I still have not received a follow-up. This is my first miscarriage, and I've had to turn to Google and friends for answers. I'm sharing this not to criticize anyone personally, but to offer insight for others. If you're looking for a more hands-on or responsive experience, especially during emotional or uncertain times, it may be worth asking in advance what kind of provider relationship you can expect here.
