    The Steak Bomb
    Robert S.

Came here to try the Steak Bomb sandwich after seeing an on line review. It didn't disappoint. Freshly thinly sliced steak with onions, peppers, mushrooms, provolone and bacon on a soft freshly made roll. Really really good. They do get busy around lunch time so be prepared to wait, but worth it.

The first Jon Smith shop opened in 1988 in Palm Beach County. They are known for using quality ingredients for their grilled steak and chicken subs, crispy fries, and friendly service. In 2016 they were acquired by West Palm Beach based United Franchise Group with the goal of opening more locations in Florida and Georgia while simultaneously launching internationally into the UK. I was out and about exploring Jupiter and I stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch. The place was completely dead and employees were sitting around hanging out. I decided on the steak, cheese, and onion, their most famous sandwich. A 6 inch and a Arizona Iced Tea was $10. I sat down in the roomy and clean dining area and a few minutes later I was served my order. The caramelized onions, seared steak, and melted cheese were all served in a better than average Italian roll. The sandwich filling was a good ratio to the bread. This is a solid option for a quick service meal if you are in the area,

Delicious sub spot! The Cajun chicken sub is VERY spicy. I do not recommend this sub unless you like very hot foods. If you love spicy food, you should get it! The teriyaki chicken sub is also great. Lots of meat!!

Service was friendly and kind, but my food was not great. It was below average, not sure, maybe i ordered the wrong dish. I had blackened mahi with rice and bean which was too mushy and veggies which did not really have any flavor. I also asked for a coleslaw even that was not made too well. The kid menu hamburger with fries was pretty big portion, they liked it. They liked even more to play at the play area. I enjoyed we can sit at the table and still watch them. The play park seemed to be clean and have shade over. When we arrived for lunch, the place was pretty busy with families, so a good crowd of kids were playing. I would come back because of their kid area, not because if the food.

Maybe it's because I'm Indonesian, but I'm a total creature of habit and it never misses. While I'm stuck in my ways, my wife and the rest of the family have tried almost everything else. They swear by the Sweet Onion Crusted Snapper and the panko oysters, and the daily chalkboard specials are always a hit for them. Even if you don't get hooked on one dish like I did, you can't go wrong here. There are a couple other "Little Moir's" locations around the area and they are all the same food-wise - very good! I generally go with the sweet potato crusted fresh fish of the day. This is basically a salad with all types of fresh fruits and veggies with a nice sized piece of fish on top. It's delicious and IMO the best item on the menu. It's fresh, crisp and tasty. I want to try a basic fried fish sandwich as I've heard good things but I can't bring myself to order anything else as I'm not in the area that often. They also have fresh homemade desserts, but I'm always too full to try them. Service is fast, friendly and the place is clean. This is a solid spot, don't let this location in the strip mall turn you off. Give them a shot.
