Tim Gentry Sr. · I…read morehave carried my family to the Comedy Barn for at least 20 years but I was very disappointed last week when I went. The show that was family oriented is not family oriented anymore. They have started serving alcoholic beverages. I did not like the fact that I am sitting there and someone will come in and sit next to you drinking a beer. It is not the wholesome atmosphere that it once was not the atmosphere that I want my family in. I have groups in our church go there on a trip but not anymore. I talked to the manager about this and he listened to me but at the end of the conversation he told me that they were going to keep it there. I called the corporate office and talked to a lady there who told me that I was the only one who had called about this and said she hated that she would lose my business and the church groups but unless they got a lot of calls they would keep it. So if that is not the atmosphere and environment you and your family wants to be in plese call them and let them know. Let's let -our voices be heard and get the show back to being a family oriented atmosphere. Call 865-453-9473 and ask for the corporate office.

We were lucky enough to walk in, pay for our sampling, and go right to the table. The staff member pouring our samples was an absolute riot, he had everyone laughing and in great spirits. We sampled 14 varieties of Moonshine and one specialty vodka sample. Everything was tasty, the pickle one was a bit weird, but still pretty good. Your sampling wristband earns you a $5 discount off merchandise purchases but not everything in the store. The wristbands are stackable, with no limit, so if you have people in your group who don't want to buy anything be sure to ask them for their wristbands to help discount purchased for others who are purchasing something at the store. They also provide additional discounting on top of the wristband discount to Military/Veterans. The store is organized, clean, has a lot of great merchandise, varieties of Moonshine, and other adult beverages. They also have a cocktail bar and a small stage where live music is scheduled throughout the day. We purchased 3 different types of Moonshine - a Cherry Limeade, a Chocolate Coffee Cream Liqueur, and the Banana Pudding. All three are delicious and I would definitely buy them again next go-around. All-in-all, it's a great spot to have a little fun at an affordable cost while visiting Gatlinburg, TN. I recommend them if you are shopping in the area.

The bottles are around $30 so if you have three or four wristbands that saves a lot of money. Also ask for the military discount. Go get you some.!

Great spot! Wow!…read more While passing through Knoxville, we stumbled upon the Preservation Pub. We had seen a band was playing, so we figured we would drop in and check it out. Not a bad spot on a Tuesday night! Band was lively, and the crowd was friendly. Didn't realize at first that there were three(+) levels, so finding the arcade on the second floor (as well as another bar) and the roof patio (with yet another bar) made this place super fun. Lots of different settings depending on what you are looking for. The rooftop was great though - giving a view of the city, as well as a lot of interesting built in art. Also loved the artistic (signed decorated) washrooms - that was a hilarious and unexpected touch! If I lived in Knoxville, this would definitely be one of my go-to spots!
