Dr. Hannawi had a tough task - he just acquired the practice of a dentist I've used (and loved) since 1989. During this transition we are still being seen in the "old" North Attleboro office, to give us all time to transition to the new relationship and slightly different approach to dental care. On my first visit, which my former dentist had scheduled to replace some older fillings, I already observed many instances of the change. The first was waiting nearly 10 minutes before being seated in the chair, which had never happened before. This was possibly due to using two computer systems to manage my record, possibly due to different times each practice allots for certain procedures, or maybe the extra time needed to meet every patient for the first time. Dr. Hannawi used a few different tools from my former dentist - a newer imaging system, a hand held small camera that could take digital images of my teeth, and a thin headlamp that was cool but would have frightened my kids when they were little. He also had a different view about replacing these fillings. He thought that even though they are both old, it was premature to do anything with one. As for the other, his recommendation was a bit more aggressive: the filling is large in relation to the tooth, so cap it rather than fill it. I already have two crowns but prefer to keep my own teeth as long as possible. When I indicated that, we moved ahead to the filling. There was a difference here too; only amalgam was used, not the silver filling material, regardless of whether we were filling a front or interior tooth. Since my insurance supports amalgam only for front teeth, my out of pocket cost for the service was three times more than it would have been with my former dentist. Dr Hannawi and his assistant Maria have great bedside manner and work efficiently together. I look forward to continuing to see them and eventually moving to their usual office in Attleboro.

I waited in the TV room watching the Golden Girls for about 90 minutes, after which, I was called to the recovery room. There's plenty of parking and the ladies at the check in are were very nice and friendly. The center is small but is well run. My husband got home with all the medicines (which had been sent to our pharmacy timely) and with all kinds of post-surgery instructions. Very easy to get to from Providence or the southern part of Massachusetts, just west of I-95.

Due to this they decided to give the job to someone else. I had already jumped through all the hoops and got my offer letter, start date. Did everything correct and they bamboozled me! They are sneaky and if they can't keep their word about a job. I can't imagine all the other things they are dishonest about. Do they really clean the equipment properly, do they follow all guidelines to keep patients safe? Because they obviously don't respect people's time and are dishonest.

On the other hand the office staff needs some very serious training. They have made mistakes with our appointment times, not contacting us when the appointment needs to be rescheduled. But the latest problem and the biggest is that we were overcharged for a service and was told that we will not get reimbursed until they get paid from the insurance company wich they had to resubmit the claim because they put the wrong tax id on the form. Not our fault. This is after I was told that they would mail the check out. I hope the owners of this practice take action on these issues, we Love the Dentist & Hygienists and would like to keep coming there but may have to switch due to office staff.

They fit me in for a last minute appointment before the July 4th weekend and the front desk staff is super friendly. The office is nicely decorated with very comfortable chairs. The women who brought me back were super friendly as well. They make you feel like you've been a long time patient and very comforting. Now, Dr. John Coyne is the best oral surgeon. I didn't feel the needle. I didn't feel a thing. He is super personable and honest about what he can do for you. I wish we had more caring dentists and surgeons like this place and maybe people wouldn't have such a fear of going to the dentist. If he were a dentist, I would switch in an instant but if you ever need any oral surgery or dental implants, he is your guy for sure. His staff has been with him for years which means he is a great doctor to work for. If you have fear of needles or going to the dentist try him out. I have had constant mouth pain for 7 months because of this dentist and he just doesn't even have the decency to care. I had to go to another dentist to be told the margins were not sealed properly and that the sensitive core of both teeth were left exposed. There are many other options for dentists in Attleboro, it is worth a few extra minutes of driving to spare yourself months of pain from a botched procedure.

Being a prior office manager for a corporation, it's the first contact that can make or break a business and this staff is top notch.
