When I questioned this, I was met with dismissiveness and conflicting information. I later confirmed -- through the parent group chat -- that I was misled about the nature of the email distribution. Instead of owning the error, the director chose to deflect. Even more concerning, Ms. Rodriguez has attempted to tell parents we are not allowed to discuss issues with the school in our WhatsApp group chat -- a platform completely unaffiliated with the school. This attempt to silence feedback only adds to the feeling that leadership is more focused on controlling perception than actually resolving concerns. After raising my concerns via email, I was also blocked from viewing the school's Instagram Stories -- a move that felt retaliatory and unprofessional. Additionally, despite respectfully requesting that all communication remain in writing, one of the school's owners refused and insisted on a phone call. When I declined for documentation purposes, I was dismissed and never contacted again. Another owner, the Principal of Pinecrest Glades Academy, never responded to my message at all. It also appears that Ms. Rodriguez may be attempting to downplay or hide issues from other families -- potentially due to the fact that her own child attends the school. This presents a troubling conflict of interest, especially when decisions and communication seem more focused on image management than transparency or child well-being. This is not the type of leadership I expect from an educational institution. Parents deserve accountability, open communication, and professionalism -- not censorship, avoidance, and retaliation.
