Ok,so this is the second year my kid is in this school. When…read morewe we're looking for a preschool for our toddler we initially wanted a Montessori as it was highly recommended by few friends.Anyway the school was already booked for the next year. We did a tour and liked a school, and we were pretty satisfied with a year our two year old completed here. We decided to continue, but this year is a different story. Actually a friend of mine whose kid was in different class, pulled her kid before this school year, pointing out that school has some issues. I don't know if that's because the director changed or the school run out of money, but activities became so limited. Most of the days kids just doing coloring and painting, not much of diverse materials are used even though you pay for it.Last year was much better regarding this.Curriculum missing some creativity. This year there have been zero field trips even though they were promised. Instead of taking kids to a museum tour as a field trip, they invite you(it's optional activity)to bring your kids on the weekend for a museum tour and charge you like 60$ per ticket.Ridiculous. Christmas party that was planned for a while was basically a bounce house. Other important thing, they are short on staff. The pictures of daily kids activities are posted on the app not very often. For that I don't blame the teacher(my kid teacher is great by the way, knowledgeable, passionate and caring and we really like her),but she is by herself most of the times so obviously can't do everything. On the good note, the school is very clean, super safe, everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is great, front desk ladies are amazing, very communicative and always there for any questions, ready to help you out with a smile. My kid's teacher is amazing as well, she pours all of her heart in care for the children. So to conclude they should invest more (financially and academically)to make a better experience for the children.

Hi Albert - Would like to give you an opportunity to return my call. I'd Like to alert all parents…read moreboth mothers and fathers. If you call Albert with concerns about not only your children but with the other parent who's alternating documents forging my signature as well as other things while your living out of state Albert will not only Ignore you emails and calls but he will have a personal relationship with children's mothers and even if they fail to arrive on time to pick the children up he will not call the father or mother that's out of state instead he'll call the grandparents of the mother who failed to pick the children up & release your children to a nanny you never heard of while leaving his business to personally drive around looking for the mother of my children at hospitals, her job, the police station. Not once did Albert call me and let me know what occurred. I had to book a flight within 24 hours get my children from a stranger nanny I didn't know, and my children ended up sleeping at her and her husbands home. How did I find out something went wrong..?? you can be a mother of 2 in your mid 30's trying to party on South Beach mid day.. I guess Albert wanted to help her hide this from me. I'd stay away from this school and owner. I really want to sue him. Thank you Miami Sheriff PD for letting me know my children were safe and letting me know exactly what the mother of my children did. Can't say the same for Albert.

Really cute Montessori school on the second floor of the Civica Plaza. It's conveniently located…read moreat the Medical Center by Jackson hospital, the University of Miami and the Miami Dade Courthouse which is great for employees that work in the surrounding area to drop off their kids in a nearby location. It's also fairly new, it's been open 6 months more or less. They accept children 18 months to 6 years old and therefore I don't have a kid that age but my coworker/best friend drops off her daughter every day and I usually go with her to either drop off or pick up her up. The staff is friendly and are always aware for the safety of the children and know who is picking them up all the time. So far I've heard no complaints and my friends daughter has learned a lot since being there since they teach a non traditional style of learning, Montessori. BTW Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential. They are a little pricey I think $700-800 a month but worth it if you can.

I have never used a Nanny service before and now I definitely won't. Please don't use Thalya for…read moreyour future baby/ child care long term needs. Her candidates are way below average at best. One of the girls she sent for our family to interview had an Only Fans account. My husband did a quick Google search and she quickly popped up. So if we could do a Google search and find out in seconds I am very dubious on her vetting process. We selected one of the candidates and I paid the nanny fee. Now I know why Thalya was so quick to get me the contracts. I almost think it was a scam in between Thalya and the nanny - like just work for them for three weeks and poof the nanny Lucia - send me a text at 7 am saying she enjoyed working with our family but wouldn't be returning to work. No notice, no explanation nothing. Thalya had been negotiating with us to pay her more hahaha she wasn't even worth 6 dollars let alone 22.00 she was asking. So here we are left in complete chaos - my husband was away. Thalya offered to find us another nanny and then presented a candidate that required more hours and for me to pay them more. I mean what a joke. I am sad, disappointed, I am over being mad. Our family was left in complete chaos. Perhaps this agency is good if you need a baby sitter on occasion but what a complete mess. I have never experienced anything like this.

We were visiting Miami for the holidays, and booked a week of childcare one month in advance,…read morepaying $180 for one of the 'premium care' packages so we could have the same nanny the entire week. On our first day we were waiting for our nanny to arrive at the hotel, after 15 minute we called Thalya, no response, we tried again after an hour and someone answered only to tell us no one was unavailable. After cancelling our lunch reservation, Thalya eventually emailed us 9 hours later saying the nanny was waiting in the lobby the entire time. Why she didn't try calling us, or asking reception to call us, remains a mystery. What is most concerning, however, is that Elite Nannies was not contactable while live bookings were underway - one can only imagine what would have happened in an emergency situation. After this experience we didn't trust Elite Nannies to provide care for the rest of our time in Miami so cancelled future bookings and found another childcare provider. To her credit, Thalya agreed to promptly refund us the $180 agency fee we had pre-paid. It came as no surprise that were still chasing her for the refund one month later before she stopped responding to our emails, forcing us to lodge a dispute with our credit card provider. Truly incompetent service with many hours wasted.

I am not sure about the other parents but my experience here was not great. I have a three year old…read morethat had been at the school since she was 9 months old. I felt it was a place for babies since that required less work as far as developmentally. Once my child got to an age where learning was to come into play, I felt it was less than par and I was constantly having to monitor her growth there which is exhausting when I have to mention things like letting my child run around with no clothes on because she used the bathroom instead of calling me to bring her a change of clothes. Or that she would leave there with her shoes on the wrong feet, meaning no one took the time to notice that she put her shoes on improperly when she is at a age when her feet are also developing and walking around in shoes that are not on right is detrimental to the growth of them. She has come home a few times with scratches from other kids, one time a bite, and even her eye got pocked so I had to bring her to urgent care, all incidents I was NEVER called about, I discovered them when she got home which tells me they are not being watched. I would spend the weekend potty training her and she would be there for two days and revert back to diapers because they were not taking the time to keep that up. It was only after I kept bringing it up and refused to bring diapers anymore that it finally started to change. And even at first they would send her home in diapers that were too small because again LAZY!!! The daycare owner or manager will actually talk about your business with other teachers and people who don't even work at the school! For instance, I had someone from my GYM ask me why Stephanie (the owner or manager not sure) was asking about my living situation and my sister. Yes, this actually happened. I never addressed it with her because that is apparently who she is but def kept it in mind. That is not only unprofessional, its immature and this lady runs a school my child goes to! She also is famous for deflecting any issues and making them someone elses fault. I.E. one time I went to pick up my child and her shoes were on wrong yet again and she actually said to me "well she put them on that way so...".. Really , thanks dumba$$ for the clarification, so should I sit and tell my three year old to watch how she puts on her shoes because it can impact the growth of her feet.. or tell the owner and teacher I pay hundreds of dollars a month to to look after the kids they watch!!?? That's a hard one... ahh NO its not.. its her fault!! My child's behavior slowly went from loving as a baby to frustrated and annoyed and defensive and protective every day she was there. Now at three, I can see that the environment there was not a pleasant one. Proof that I made the right choice in leaving is the fact that She has only been at a new school for two days and her whole attitude when she comes home is different now. Coincidence? I think not! I will never recommend this daycare to anyone ever. And if you have a child that you want to have a loving, caring, responsible, nurturing and educational experience, then don't take your kids here either! But, if you don't care and don't mind your kids spending most of the day watching movies and/or outside and eating junk food, then its the place for you! I loved one of the teachers there but she was unhappy too and ended up leaving so that was all she wrote!
