We tried to order online for the collab meal however due to the drink issue we were unable to place the order on the kiosk and stood in line. Service was pretty fast, the cashier was quick and efficient getting everyone's orders placed. I guess the drink machine was broken and they just got it working when we got to the front of the line. I used to really love coming to Jollibee in Mira Mesa, which makes writing this disappointing. This weekend I went through the drive-thru and ordered the chicken sandwich, only to get a dry piece of chicken on a bun that felt rushed and lacked the quality I'd come to expect. I gave it the benefit of the doubt--mistakes happen. Today I came back to give it another shot and ordered a burger, but unfortunately it was another letdown. It was messy, sloppily put together, and looked like it had been assembled without much care or attention. The food just didn't feel like it was prepared with the pride and consistency that made me enjoy this place in the past. There was also no napkins in my to go bag. I'm writing this in hopes that management takes notice, because Jollibee has been a favorite, and I'd love to see the quality and care return to what made it special. read more

I had never tried Jollibee before but I had heard great things about it. This location was the closest to my location and my roommate goes probably twice a week. There's lot of parking when you arrive and there's iPads to order online from. They have good deals and good portion sizes. I decided to get the combo meal which comes with 2 pieces of chicken, a side of biscuit and gravy, dessert, and a drink. The chicken was delicious and crispy - paired really well with the gravy. I also loved the pie and tried both the mango and ube one! The restaurant itself was clean and the orders came out pretty fast. I'm grateful for a Jollibees closer to my area so I'm rounding up to 4 stars although I really feel this places is more around 3.5 stars on most days. Jollibees has the best fried chicken (hands down) add in some gravy and it's game over for every other chicken place. I am sad that they no longer have the full chicken sandwich menu- only spicy and original (they used to have bacon & cheese, and aloha- the pineapple on it was superb). I feel like their serving sizes also shrank (they didn't used to serve side spaghetti in a gravy cup). The staff is usually friendly and I have no complaints about their service. The store is also tidy and clean whenever I've come to pick up my order. I'm also really glad the drive thru line is shorter now-adays. read more

And honestly -- her hospitality was TOP TIER. She even made sure we had plates and utensils packed in the bag just in case. Aloha all....so I finally made it to Jollibee. The restaurant was bright and the staff very friendly. I guess I got lucky because I've read other reviews saying that it can get pretty busy during rush hour. I ordered two meals and a drink. They handed me the buzzer and by the time I found a table to sit down, the buzzer went off and my order was ready for pick up.. I ordered the rhe one piece chicken and spaghetti combo. The chicken was light, crispy and juicy. The spaghetti was sweet, delicious and filling. A great comfort meal. I topped it all off with a self serve soft drink. This was my first time trying Jollibee, so I was super excited. The ambiance of the place is really spacious and nice. There were only about two people in front of us, so my friend and I were able to order pretty quickly. We got the six-piece spicy chicken along with a guava drink, and it came with a side of gravy. The food came out incredibly fast, probably because we came on a weekday. I can imagine it being a lot busier on the weekends, so that's definitely a pro tip. The chicken was super crispy and hot. We went with the six-piece spicy, and honestly, it wasn't too spicy, more of a mild kick, which I really liked. You can also do a half-and-half if you want to try both. The gravy was really good and slightly on the sweeter side, but it paired perfectly with the chicken. The guava drink was also really refreshing. I loved the flavor, and it went so well with the chicken and gravy. Overall, I really loved Jollibee. Since this was my first time, I'll definitely be coming back. I was a little sad I didn't get to try their peach mango pie or their spaghetti, but that just gives me a reason to return. First time try out this location when we visited from the Bay Area. We had a group of 4, my daughter wanted to have their pies so we ordered the 6 pcs chickenjoy pie deal. We chose to have 1/2 original & 1/2 spicy. It took approximately 10 minutes to be ready while others behind us already got theirs, could've take longer if we didn't ask. About the taste, 6 pcs bucket: The spicy chicken is awesome, skin was very crunchy, flavorful, tender and very juicy. But when it comes to the original, it was disappointing. The batter was a little thick and feels like it's full of flour... Spaghetti: Their spaghetti is tasty as usual! This is actually my favorite! Pineapple Quench: It taste very good, but I feel if I make with pineapple juice would taste the same. Peach Mango Pie: Pie crust is deep fried, filling is sweet but cannot really tastes the peach nor the mango. It's just okay. Hands down, the best fried chicken in the world! If you haven't tried Jollibee, you should. I suggest ordering the spicy chicken; it's so much better than the original. It is spicy, the skin is very crunchy, dipped in gravy - it's the best! The burger steak is also really delicious. The spaghetti is yummy, but FYI, it is sweet! It's not the same as traditional spaghetti; Filipino spaghetti is sweet and savory with hotdogs, banana ketchup, melted cheese, and sugar; it's not for everyone, but lots of people like it. I love it. Lately, I've been ordering the 1 or 2-piece chicken spicy, 2-piece burger steak combo with soda. Plus, for an extra $1.50, you can upgrade to spaghetti as your side. For a total of $18-$20, you get to taste a lot of everything in one order. It's the best combo meal for me. They have other things too, like burgers, palabok, tenders, and little snack desserts, but the combo was my favorite. They also have chicken bucket meals and party platters for big family dinners. There are two locations in San Diego, one in Miramesa and the other one in National City! I highly recommend Miramesa location tho especially ordering drive thru. This is the definition of price gouging. The fact kfc and Popeyes and churchs chicken tastes a whole lot better. At kfc right now you get an 8 piece bucket free with purchase of 15$. Thats getting a whole order free with a lot of chicken! In Tuesdays, kfc has 15$ bucket deal, 8 pieces NOT 6! Popeyes even has deals that garner points and you can get something free more frequently. Jollibee is so snooty. The mashed potatoes and gravy is excellent here and the fries are pretty good but I cannot get over the weird tasting chicken. Outside is crispy and nice texture, but taste awful. This location was not bad in service. The kid at the counter was nice but didn't seem to understand a question I was asking him. Its a good size inside but not packed ever like an in n out n out would be. This Jollibee had a drive thru. It really isn't busy here at all. The only reason 2 stars bc THIS location is fine. First Impressions: I was visiting from Tucson, AZ on vacation with my significant other and I have to say I've been looking forward to Jollibee for a few years as I keep seeing TikToks and YouTube videos of everyone raving about it. The chicken is the truth and my god that gravy is just gold. I can't believe how good it is. Borderline criminal good. The adobo rice is so good and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the joy spaghettis! The ube and mango pie hit the sweet tooth, and I couldn't be more happier that I tried a little bit of everything here, but the CHICKEN! with the gravy was just SPECTACULAR. Value: The food in California is expensive, but more particularly this whole meal came out to be a be roughly $47.60 (which isn't to bad) considering how much food you get. I did go a little overboard as I was eating for myself, gf and her sister. I think the value is there if your buying the bucket meals. Recommendation: Out of this world good! There is very little sauce for the platter so we paid for extra sauce. The peach mango pies come closest to how it is back in the PI. The yum burgers are farthest from the taste profile of the original. The meat patties are tiny. You'll have to take a few bites of the buns before you end up finding the patties. The mac n cheese was watery and had a powdery flavor that just didn't hit the mark, it was fake mac n cheese. Don't waste your money on it.
