The more expensive pieces are classic and you will have in your wardrobe for a long long time. What I love about this store is that you won't see anyone else wearing the same thing - unique and stylish clothing. Of course, they have jewelry, sunglasses, purses, accessories, too!! Now my favorite part of this store is the people who work there. They clearly love what they do - which is they love fashion and they love helping others love fashion as much as they do. They honestly want you to look your best! Ever go into a department store, try something on and know it doesn't look right - - but the salesperson says "oh, that looks great". Well, at BluNoir they will tell you the TRUTH in an honest but not insulting way. Instead they will find you something that does look truly GREAT on you and flatters your body type, whatever body type you have. They also offer fashion advice, if you ask - ie, what shoes should I wear with this, what jewelry would you wear, etc., etc. They have designer inspired merchandise (think Roberto Cavalli) at much cheaper prices. They also carry NYDJ styles which I have not seen in Nordstrom - for example, recently bought a pair of leopard jeans which are a-mazing! If you're at Tivoli, check this place out - you will love it. My fav store and by far my fav stylists (as they never "sell" you - but instead style you!!). Happy shopping!

However, what I spent most of my time browsing were their jewelry cases filled with fun, stylish selections that you don't see everywhere. The prices aren't cheap, but they aren't unexpected for this type of store. They also showcase work from local artists, always an appreciated touch. Happy to see another locally-owned spot to do some shopping!

The owner was an absolute gem. Provided great recommendations and once she told me the rompers had pockets....I was sold. If you're looking for the basics or a cute outfit + accessories for going out, this place has it all :) I ended up with a striped top I couldn't wait to wear the next day. It made shopping fun actually haha. There's jewelry/accessories sold there from other boss ladies (female business owners) I love that they all support each other. The last time I came here they paid for my parking not sure if they still do that. To add, the stuff I bought came with a cute paper-fabric material bag. No plastic bags ! Yaaay. If you're around the area, definitely stop in. A lot of the items go with so many things and will fit in different seasons. The dresses at White House Black Market are amazing too! They're super stylish and versatile. There is such thoughtful tailoring to the dresses and each outfit feels so unique. If you sign of for a rewards account, you'll get discounts throughout the year to spend in the store! The customer service at this location is fantastic too! Having called Las Vegas my home for 20 years, I have always supported the many faces of the growth of downtown Las Vegas, regardless what it looked like. The Arts Factory was once the only thing running down there (remember all the lingering outside in the parking lot with adult beverages at a gallery event? and that was it)...then over many years add Fremont Street and the influence/money of Tony Hsieh and the countless other good Las Vegans encouraging that growth and on and on and on.... And then we now have Main Street, south of Charleston Blvd, north of Wyoming Ave and that surrounding area. Have you been down there? It's awesome! If you have not been down there as of late, do yourself a favor and go. Easy parking, fun food and drink and boutique retail shops like "For the Love, LV." Tourist or local, a great place to wander and enjoy the smaller feel of Las Vegas yet with a big punch. Did I mention For the Love, LV.... Super cute, open floor plan that stretches all the way to the back of the retail space, light/bright feel. Not to mention the owner Emily, with her perky character, easy manner and southern charm, and grateful that I am there. I have stopped at For the Love, LV on occasion when I am in the area and it is now one of those places along with Local Oasis up the way that I am always going to stop in to when I am in the area. Because you never know what gem you might find! This last visit, I walked away with a super comfy and cute Bailey Rose sweatshirt. Jewelry, clothing on trend, ball caps, sun glasses, cards, candles. In the back, Emily works with another retailer in selling very well curated vintage clothing. Also, the store works with artists in featuring their works (take note of the cool stuff on the walls mid store). It really is a great space. Emily and For The Love, LV is part of the newest chapter of the evolution of downtown Las Vegas and she embodies all that it should be... cool, welcoming, small business, investment and absolutely on point.
