While I wouldn't say I was disappointed with One, I would say I wasn't bowled over. The clothes really are expensive, and even with a sale on, I couldn't find all that much I liked, and to be honest, the money side of things put me off properly hunting. There were a few stunning garments in the sale, and yes, I did spot a gorgeous dress for £30, but when I asked myself did I really need it, the answer was no, and I would probably find something equally as nice for a bit cheaper elsewhere. As far as the full-price new season stuff was concerned, I decided against having a look, for fear of my eyes popping out of my head at the prices. The style of many of the clothes isn't really my thing - I like cute prints, florals, skinny jeans, shirts and that sort of thing, but most of this stuff was a bit too eclectic for me. And in answer to U2's questioning, "Is it getting better? Or do you feel the same?", I'm afraid it's got to be the latter. My mind hasn't been at all changed during the course of my review. I have to say, they're prices I wouldn't pay, but I'm a bargain hunter and don't see the point in paying full price for something you can get discounted elsewhere (or the same thing, minus the label and about £50!) So because of this it's not a store I'd highly recommend but if you're a label-a-holic then you'd probably really like it. They sell Bench, Super Dry, Lee Cooper *insert label here* type clothes. Some of their stuff is quite nice, but their prices just aren't!

While it may look intimidating from the outside, the guys inside this heavily wooden panelled step back in time are so friendly and helpful. As a woman it feels like all men's clothes look the same, but these guys will help you through the cuts and shapes or whatever these shirts are called with warmth and knowledge. OK, they aren't the cheapest menswear shop in town, but with their old club feel and service, they are up amongst the classiest.

There are a number of branches of this store in Northern Ireland, this one in Ballyclare, the branch in Carrick, Westwood Centre, City Park Retail and Connswater. It is a popular store for teens and mums alike as they sell up to date trendy clothing for all ages. Students receive 10% off which is an added bonus for all those skint kids needing good value for money which Peacocks definitely provides. This shop is a sort of up market Primark which is popular with men/women/boys and girls.

I was awarded honours for Drama when I was at school and went here to buy the special blazer, it was £90 which was a bit of a rip-off, but it was the only place you could buy the blazers so I don't really blame them for marking the prices up. Baillies is a Bangor institution and has been around for over five decades, supplying the young, old and men somewhere in between with suits, trousers, shirts, t-shirts, jackets, coats and knitwear. Despite the prices being of a slightly higher nature, Baillies often has really good discounts (hence why my dad loves it so), and you'll find yourself surprised at the bargains available. And yes, I know you're thinking I'm female (and you'd be perfectly correct), but I've been in Baillies many times before...with my dad of course. If you're a pupil at one of Bangor's schools, you can be sure to find your uniform at Baillies. The staff in here are extremely knowlegable and very professional. My mum bought my Dad a shirt from here and for whatever reason she had to bring it back and when she did she said that the service she recieved was really, really top class. She said that she can usually find places like that intimidating but the staff in here made her feel at home and at ease. You can get all sorts of stuff in here. From wedding suits to cufflinks and beyond. They have an excellent website that will talk you through all you need to do. Really professional and excellent service from start to finish.
