She wasn't eating, had lost weight and I was seriously concerned. Dr. Chiu is amazing, just love her. She was thorough & definitely knew her profession! The other staff were pleasant and friendly. Melissa in particular is wonderful! We were back after Angel's initial treatment, just to touch base on what was happening with her. Based on X-rays, doc dx'd lymphoma. She also had a bit of fluid around her lungs. Dr. Chiu told us what to look out for, and we were back the very next morning. Pleural effusion. It crushed me to let Angel go, it's been a year and I am still an emotional disaster. We have since taken our dog Sammy there and it went very well. Then we had our kitty Raider there, and she is out cardiac kitty. We found out she is now hyperthyroid. I don't remember who we saw, but it was not Dr. Chiu. The vet she saw put her on methimazole, which is appropriate. Raider was super lethargic after, and after researching it, found she was put on the highest dose. I didn't like that. We took her elsewhere and it was confirmed that her dose was wrong. She is now on the right dose and doing great. My big problem is this incident, overdosing my girl. It could have gone badly, had I not been so involved. The other problem is the cost. I know they have to make money. They are just as high or higher than other vets in the area. The cost is the big thing for me, and sometimes you get what you pay for. I will say if that is not a factor for you, go! I do like it there. I live in Conway so it's a little far away but I e driven further.

My dog who became paralyzed in July can now stand and has even taken a couple of steps. She looks forward to seeing her friends and getting better! Dr. Tom has given us hope and confidence!

I took her to see Dr. Tom, not knowing if it was too late to help her. He did ten PT sessions, fixed her stance and gait, and we signed on for ten more of hydrotherapy sessions. All were covered by Fiona's Healthy Paws insurance at 80%. Thank God for pet insurance! The moment we entered the building for our PT sessions, Fiona acted like she was going to Disneyworld. She loves this place and Dr. Tom! Fiona is now chasing squirrels and running at full speed, fully recovered. I'm tempted to sign her up for some Happy Dog sessions because she misses the sessions and Dr. Tom so much. This is a first class practice. I heard many sad tales from other pet owners about car accidents and failed TPLO's and saw three-legged pets regaining mobility and dogs of all sizes regaining their confidence and mobility. He is a miracle worker, and the dogs love his staff.

It's going to a good cause so just remember that! ;) We picked up a couple large frames for $10 each in great condition. The far back room through the double doors in where lots of home improvement type things are. Just like any thrifting you'll find lots of junk and a couple gems.

Items are donated and then sold to provide money for Habitat to keep helping the needy. The first showroom is furniture, couches, dining sets, curios and even some electronics. I found a barely or never used Ethan Allen couch and I paid $100 for it. That's a pretty amazing deal. The second, small showroom is household items. Paintings, books, vases, dishes, pots and pans, as well as linens. Seasonal items are found here, as well as CD's and other miscellaneous items. The third and final showroom is like an open warehouse with building supplies, large appliances, doors, jacuzzi's, lamps, and so much more. There are toilets, windows, doorknobs and tools. The items sold here are so inexpensive, if you keep coming back there's always a find. If you don't find what you are looking for, every week more and more donations come in. Some donations are from individuals and others are from companies. Although some items are used, they must be in resell condition. For open packaged items, always check that there are no parts missing, if they are, you may be able to pick up the part at your local hardware store. I have made purchases here, as well as donations. This store is a treasure and it is win-win for all.
