I came upstate to visit friends and family, my girlfriend took me here to get my nails done : they came out decent. The service was great and they were very nice , but when it came time to pay ..the price was 75$... 75$ for a full set is insane - no gems, glitter or design but I was charged for length 15$ and shape 5$ as well as design 15$ (the white french was considered a design) plus the basic 40$ for acrylic I normally get my nails done in NYC and they aren't even this pricey. read more

Workers are distracted. I got my nails done by a woman who seemed like the manager and she was super distracted with other people. I showed up an hour before close and they sat me down immediately but I waited at my seat for her to start AND finish someone else I was probably waiting for 30 minutes so now I'm getting my nails done 30 minutes before close and they're rushing. I guess I never go to a nail salon late ever again cause this woman did me dirty. Not sure if she was upset at me for coming in so late or maybe I should've showed her the picture more or if she had more time or more care for attention she would've done it right. I spent a few hours at Johnstown Nails, yesterday for them all to be quite messed up. The design isn't quite what I asked for, while she looked at the photo on my phone, she was extremely rough with my nails to the point they burned and felt like they were being scrapped by a concrete ground. My nails look like they're on a slope trying to go up a moment, some of my fingers even look like they need a fill already, while others were crooked. Never would I ever go back here again. My nail started to fall off after a week. Went back in to get one nail taken care of. No all they did was put glue on it. It started popping off after an hour. A week later I had to literally pull the nail off. My finger is infected because she put so much glue on it and glued part of my nail with it. I'm going back to Sunny Nails for sure!!!! read more

went there today to get a simple acrylic nails set done and had to wait forever. The lady that had done my nails started to do mine before she was even done with her other client and was touching both of our hands at the same time (mind you she wasn't even changing her gloves). She sounded like she had a cold and didn't have a face mask on too. She was very rough and wasnt paying much attention to what she was doing or what I was suggesting. My daughter came in from out of town, so I took her to this nail salon as a treat. We waited almost an hour, others without appts. were being seen before us. she rushed through a simple polish change, glitter polish all over the sides of her fingers, some areas not even colored, and put daughters hands under a fan that wasn't even on, and after 30 minutes her nails were not dry but she let us leave anyway. The nail polish rubbed and wrinkled the minute she put her seat belt on. It was a simple polish, not even a manicure. This was her 2nd chance because I had a disappointing experience my 1st time. I will never go again, nor will I ever recommend her to anyone. She was rude, abrupt and unprofessional. read more

They were extremely sloppy and just rushed thru doing my nails. The top coat was full of bubbles, and he cut my finger when he was using the nail file on my nails because he was rushing. While I was getting a pedicure they started arguing with a customer about the price and continued to complain to each other about how they told her already what it was going to cost and made fun of her for 15 mins. The overall process was great. My nails came out as expected. The only thing I have to complain about is I believe they overcharged me. Normally other nail salons charge $35 for ANC manicures and this placed charged me $45. read more

The Mani/Pedi I received was mediocre at best but not bad for the price. It took almost 30 minutes for my fingers to dry due to the thickness of the polish. My BIG ISSUE was when the woman did my eyebrows. First thing I said was "please don't touch the top, I like to keep my natural shape". She nodded in agreement. Second thing SHE did was to rip off the tops of my eyebrows!!! I understand that there is a language barrier but she didn't understand anything I said. I now have to go through months of growing out my eyebrows. UGH. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. When I got there, it was packed. It stayed busy the whole time I was there. I was hoping that meant that they were doling out quality. No such luck. I would make a sad face but my expressions look weird now with my stupid, shapeless eyebrows! read more
