Experience was not very good. Purchased flooring, had to confirm size since signage was not clear…read more Once product was at store, rented a van to pick up. Didn't want delivery. Store then proceeded to load our product on delivery truck. Blaming a name on why it was loaded with another order. Hello did you ever here of checks and balances. So they verbally said they would reenburse cost for van, then truck driver blamed manager, sales person didn't know anything and in the dispute with credit card company, the store lied by saying they helped unload product into garage. Yeah, how about unloaded in middle of driveway per corporate rules...lol lie lie lie lie. I wouldn't buy a nail from this company again. Horrible communications. All they had to do it call, admit to an error and let us know that it would be delivered the day before we paid for rental, drove to South Bend only to be told its not here. Stick around its on the way..hello pay up and admit someone screwed up. Be a real company and not hide things.

The store and the installation were fantastic to work with. The product however was horrible. I…read morespent alot of money on some real hardwood flooring. Ordered in late June hoping for a September install. The wood I selected was backordered. By August - still backordered. By September it was clear I had to choose another wood. Joe the store manager had a recommendation - found the quantity of wood I needed in stock. Contacted another store where I was going to be for a few days to get me a sample. I switched over and the wood was delivered to my house in early October to sit and acclimate. Day 1 of install...all of my old flooring was ripped out but as they started the install process - everything fell apart - thankful for Kevin the install lead who identified quickly that there was a milling problem on the larger boards so the project had to be stopped. It was now October 25 and my house had been in chaos for 3 weeks with 1100 square feet of boxes all over the upstairs along with moving out all of my clothing and decorative items to facilitate the installation. It was only supposed to be a week's worth of work. When the job stopped, the store was able to find more wood from a different lot and get that to the shop quickly. It was checked for measurements to ensure we didn't have the same milling problem then more wood was delivered the first week of November. It too had to sit for 3 weeks so now I'm living in chaos for 6 weeks. Had to cancel both a Thanksgiving event at my house and then a Christmas Party because installers couldn't come back until the first week of December. Ultimately had to cancel a business trip as well. Started that install only to find terrible finish quality. Boards with horrible rough spots. Boards with failure in the black wire brushing distress process. This caused significant challenges for me (who had to inspect every board and determine if it could be used as is or it had to be cut on one end or another) and for the installers who had much more labor than should have been required because of the poor quality wood. In the end, we ran out of usable wood and one of my rooms couldn't be finished. The store had to order a 3rd round which also had to sit for 3 weeks. We finally finished the installation after Christmas. If you have never lived with your house fully torn up for 2 months and missed your favorite holiday - because no Christmas decorations were able to be put up because no floor and furniture everywhere but where it should be - you won't understand how painful this project was. In the end, I would give my install team a solid 5 stars. I would give Joe from the store a solid 4 stars. I would give LL Flooring product a 2 star rating at best.
