My little lad would help me put the stuff in the machine and help take it out. Whilst the wash was on we would go to the park and play so it was not like we were running riot in the laundrette. Best bit is once she's rollocked you/your children for being noisy (kids are noisy until they are old enough to understand social etiquette) she then slags you off to other customers which is very embarrassing for them. Other than that it is a great place to get your pants clean!

The owner won't put a change machine in the facility although all the machines are coin operated…read more Getting change in this country involves going to your bank (which can be an arduous process if you work during their business hours and/or aren't close to a branch). The surrounding businesses get tired of people coming to them to break notes and they often aren't able to accommodate change request. This refusal to put in a change machine is the ultimate "I do not care about my customers and am a slumlord business owner" flex ever.

I was lucky there were a few washers and dryers that took credit cards so I was able to complete my task. It was clean and all the machines worked well. I came with my detergent which was good. Having a way to purchase detergent might be useful too. I would come again if I'm the area again. Nice coffee shop two doors down which is an asset worth mentioning too.

They failed to mention when i took them in, that there was a risk of shrinkage, not just a little, i mean 5 inches! (see the photos! these used to nicely brush along the floor) when i got them back home and hung them up i was devastated, not only had they shrunk significantly but the lining behind now sits below the curtains themselves!! and threads now hang loose below too. The curtains have also now come away at the eyelet (what have they done to cause this much damage?!) These were expensive curtains which stated "professional dry clean only" this is what I did, but professionals they are not. They have come back ruined, I can't see how they could have ruined them this much from dry cleaning, unless they actually put items in the washing machine WORD OF WARNING! CHECK THEIR WEBSITE!! APPARENTLY THEY USE THIRD PARTIES! When i took the curtains back to the dry cleaners to show the manager, the manager was extremely rude in her attitude and look towards me, and offered no sympathy, even while i stood there with my two year old in tow. She decided she didn't like me and clearly thought i was a chancer trying to get money from her, which i can assure you i am not. I just wanted what was fair, but nothing about this company is fair. They refused to pay any money whatsoever to help towards the cost of replacing the curtains, the only offer was a refund of my dry cleaning costs (they accepted responsibility but refused outright to pay towards the cost of new curtains) since when is that right?. Apparently this level of shrinkage is possible, even normal but they fail to mention this to you when you take your items. I guess its also normal to pull the threads, come away at the eye lets and lining to sit longer then curtains themselves? Do not use their services, please spare your treasured items from a terrible company. Absolutely shocking (and they don't care)

The lady that manages the location is truly a gem to speak with. She is so helpful and willing to help her patrons with folding and washing. She also provides change if needed. She has a very interesting past that is inspiring. If I ever go back it's be great to reconnect with her again. The laundromat itself is clean and tidy.
