I have also found other neat things, including a quirky, handmade ceramic turkey, so.e really nice skirts, and my favorite an antique that my dad dated to about 1840. It cost only 60$ and just needs reupholstering. There is a lot of junky stuff, too, but that's in the eye of the beholder, so I can't take away any stars for that. I buy a lot of frames and sometimes, if the frames have pictures in them, the price is too much. I liked the frame, but 15$ for not old and kind of cheesy painting off raggedy anne and andy? Nope. When you donate, the guys out back are efficient, and reasonably friendly when you speak to them. I am quite sad to be moving to Floida as I will miss the Broad Street Thrift Mart as bad as I have been missing The Shrimper!

Stay away! These people don't know what they are doing and their plants are way over priced. After…read more3 years of planting almost 500 pine trees at my farm (these came in 3 gallon pots) when 7 of the last 21 died after 2 months they would not replace them even though Home Depot and Cold Creek offer a one year guarantee. On top of that they charged $25@ for the replacement trees which were originally $10 each.
