Came here to visit my best friend who was moving and she said it was imperative for me to try it. This farm is adorable! I see why NJ is called the Garden State! With so many different fruits to pick depending on season, I really enjoy it during the Fall because it's apple picking time. Some of the best apple cider and apple cider do its I've ever had! They also have these apple cider slushies that I still constantly think about! Def check it out if you're in the area. read more

Just revisited the farm and realized I've never written a review. As a family we've been going for a least a decade. So we've seen the pricing increase over the years, but it's still worth it for wholesome family fun. We usually visit once per season and this visit was for u pick strawberries. It was the perfect day for it as the weather was very pleasant-70's, partly sunny, no rain, with a slight breeze. The hayride felt bumpier than usual, but the kids loved it and didn't notice, which is most important. Afterward, we enjoyed some farm fresh ice cream while sitting on a bench and people watching. We'll be back for u pick blueberries next month hopefully, pumpkins, apples, and apple cider donuts in the fall. read more

This review is for the corn maze, which is to say the experience that is called a corn maze. It's not actually a maze at all. It's a loop around a field of corn with a few little nooks holding boards with images of tractors. That's it. No "which way to go?" questions here - there is one path and that's it. It was disappointing, and at $21 per adult (because you also must buy a hayride to get to the 'maze'), outrageously overpriced. The farm may have other strengths, but if you're looking for a good corn maze, go elsewhere. read more

The underlying theme is pay to play. They charged us for our one year old to go on a hayride, $55 for two adults and two kids (greed at its finest). Every square inch of the farm is intended to maximize profit. You want to do the corn maze, pay up $10 each! You want to see the animals, pay up! You want to go to the playground, pay up! The prices in the store are also outrageous. We left and went to the Amish market, good food, fair prices and a FREE playground. The two stars were for the grounds and facilities that were festive and well kept but exploiting customers is never a good business practice, better value and experiences elsewhere! read more

We had a good time. I recommend visiting if you have a couple of hours of free time. Veronika, thank you for the help and the flowers--you packed them really well. read more

We stopped by Johnson's Corner Farm for ice cream and it was fantastic! The ice cream was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with generous portions that were well worth it. The atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly, making it a great place to enjoy a sweet treat after a day at the farm. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. If you're looking for great homemade-style ice cream in the area, Johnson's is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back again soon! read more

Visited Johnson's Farm this past fall in the late afternoon / early evening. What a cute spot to celebrate fall! Most things were closed down by the time I arrived (would love to visit earlier in the day next season), but we were still able to walk around and explore their pumpkin display, shop in the home decor store, and try some treats from their market. The pumpkin displays were lovely and perfect for a photo op. The home decor store had such adorable and seasonal items, all at fairly affordable prices. The market offered a number of treats made on-site or locally. Of course, they have their apple cider donuts (delish!) and a variety of apple ciders (particularly liked the sparkling cider option), but also a lot of breads, locally made more savory items, other beverages, candies, etc. Truly something for everyone! It wasn't too cold, so we enjoyed a donut and our cider outside on their many benches for guests. This was a pretty quick visit, but we hit all the highlights! I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the day (I'm sure it's a popular spot for field trips). Regardless, I would love to revisit during the day to experience more festivities and see Johnson's in full swing. Thanks for the fun fall outing, Johnson's! read more

It's so odd I haven't posted anything here since I come so often. It's great to bring younger kids. Love it in the fall- their apple cider slushies and apple cider donuts are a yearly tradition. Whenever we need pies, this is also the place to go. It's cute for pictures. And the people there are always friendly. read more

And you should! 10/10 every time. The staff there are the KINDEST souls I've ever met. Love them read more

Good for smaller younger kids. Hayride needs tickets to go to picking which needs to be paid for. So you're paying for entrance, the ride and picked products. Other farms hayride is part of the entrance fee since, but not an issue. Business is business. There is food service options but the quality could be a lot better. Overall we enjoyed our time here. They are clean, organized and very nice people make it 4 stars with a high recommendation from me. See you again soon! read more

Today my girlfriend Angie and I decided to go pumpkin picking at Johnson's corner farm. The hayride was so much fun and we got a huge pumpkin to carve for Halloween. We decided to also go Apple picking and sunflower picking which was a lot of fun. The apples were the best apples I ever tasted so crisp and fresh. It was a fun time for us and the staff was so friendly at the farm, I've been coming here for years and it's always like your part of the family when you're there. They have lots of family activities for kids and families as well. We decided to have lunch too and got some fresh lemonade and a turkey sandwich. We worked up an appetite after all that pumpkin picking. The inside is full of knickknacks and delicious goodies, I'd recommend stopping in to see what treasures await you. This farm is huge and has lots of fun activities that you can partake in. Check their website to find out what events are going on. Love this place! read more

Came here for hayride and strawberry picking on Saturday morning. There was not a lot of people, mostly families and kids. The strawberries were ripe and sweet, you just have to make sure to walk a little further out and avoid the ones on the ground. There were also a bunch odd shaped deformed strawberries which was interesting to see. Also, just come prepared with a hat and sunscreen because it did get pretty hot under the sun. I also got a watermelon from the market and it was super juicy! It was such a fun experience & I would definitely come back again. read more

The donuts are not made in house. They come frozen and all they do is heat them up for 5 mins in and oven then coat them in cinnamon and sugar. I believe people deserve the right to know what they are eating. The donuts are not bad but they are not in house made. read more

Visited Johnson's Corner Farm in October on a Sunday. Walking up to the farm was shocking to see so many people in line; very crowded. Our time slot reservation was for 4pm (all the other times were sold out; when we purchased days in advanced). We had to wait in line for 30 mins until the hayride pulled around. I understand that if you prefer a less crowd; you can visit during the weekday but that's not always possible for everyone's schedule. Also, we are still in a pandemic. What was the purpose of reserving a time? It was very disappointing to wait in such a long line. Especially, when an excited child is ready for some fun! First, stop was to pick apples. The pink lady apples seemed like one of the fans' favorite because there were not a lot on the trees or mostly on the ground. A lot of the other apples appeared to still be on the trees. We had to walk further down to find some pink lady apples; which was fine. Picked a few to purchase. Then, the hayride took us to pick pumpkins which was fun (trying to find your favorite pumpkin). It started to get breezy outside but we found cute pumpkins to purchase. Lastly, we looked around at the animal farm. Not sure where the food was located to feed the animals but it looked like you're able to give the cows, pigs, goats, etc corn (down a white pole for them to eat it). Interesting. There's also places for kids to play. By the time we got off the hayride, it seemed that some of the concession stands were closed and what was opened was packed. Overall, we had a funday. read more

I found Johnson's Corner Farm as one of the featured farms on a yelp list. By the description (and proximity) we decided to give them a try for our fall visit. Due to the volume of people they expect during the weekend, we bought our tickets in advance and had to select our time slot. By the time we booked (on the Tuesday prior to the weekend visit) most of the morning slots were sold out but we were lucky to get a slot before noon. You have as early as the Monday prior to book your weekend reservations. The weekdays do not require advance tickets. We were a group of 5, 4 adults and 1 child. The cost was ~$7pp for adults and free for children under 12 months. This includes the hayride to the Fall destinations of the farm (apple orchard, pumpkin patch, & sunflower fields). Other areas of the farm are a la cart, such as the petting farm and corn maze. Both of which I was not interested in since I wasn't in the mood to dodge animal poop or being lost. Upon arrival we realized how popular this place is, the parking lot was full and that was only 11:30am. We walked to the entrance where there were a lot of people in line for the hayride to the main event and locations. While there were a lot of people, the lines moved pretty quickly since they had multiple tractors for pickup. First stop, the orchard was massive and sectioned off to help distinguish which trees are ready for picking. They were marked to help decide which apples you wanted to pick. They provided 2 bag sizes and the apples were $1.99/lb. You had the freedom to stay as long as you liked and hop on the hayride whenever you liked. The next stop on the hayride was the pumpkin patch and sunflower field, which we had the option to purchase those items as well besides the obvious photo ops. Again, could stay as long as we liked. The last stop was the purchase area where you bought your items from the stops and then there were tents with other items for sale such as cider donuts, pies, cider, and more. Upon leaving, there were even more cars filling the additional parking areas created so I'm sure the stops were filled with folks. So the earlier the better for the best experience. read more

This farm is great for people of all ages, but is especially good for kids! They have an extremely large pumpkin patch with lots of different size pumpkins and gourds. They also had sunflowers that were $1.50 each. The hayride out to the pumpkin patch and sunflower fields was fun and a short distance. We did buy the corn maze passes as well, however I wouldn't recommend it. If you are with kids I'm sure it's lots of fun. However as an adult the corn maze was too easy and there were no places where you could potentially get lost. The prices here for all of their activities are very cheap and it's a great fall day activity! read more

It's a nice experience. Good place to go with little folks. It's a little on the pricey side, but fresh food is.

A classic farm to celebrate the seasons. The fall hayride to pick pumpkins and apples, the Christmas lights hayride, the Easter egg hunt... a cute way to celebrate with little kids. A bit of a price hike over the past few years, but I guess that's to be expected. Don't sleep on the pepperoni bread! read more

Today on October 3rd 2023, George & I came to Johnson's Corner Farm to pick some apples , pumpkins , & sunflowers , & also to get a Hayride too. So far everything was tons of fun; picking apples (different types: Fiji & Red Delicious) apples, beautiful sunflowers & a big huge pumpkin . The service there was excellent too, everyone was so welcoming, polite and nice too. Johnson's Corner Farm is for couples & families with little ones too. It's cute for anyone who wants to eat something delicious from Johnson's or to get something warm to drink like hot chocolate, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches or what ever you desire. Johnson's also has 2 farm houses and inside them has nicknacks, jewelry, food, beverages, and much more. You'll be surprised when you go inside & also very satisfied when you come out. I would definitely recommend Johnson's Corner Farm not only for Car Show's during the summer time but for pumpkin and apple picking in autumn . So get ya butt down to Johnson's Corner Farm and check it out, you'll have fun there, I guarantee it! #GetYaPumpkinOn #SpookySeason #Halloween read more

This was such a fun place for my toddler! We came on a Sunday, and it wasn't busy at all, but I can imagine it being a little crazy if the place was packed! Pros - Restrooms were really clean - the play area was well kept and clean. Absolutely loved that the splash pad had a baby area and older kids area - nice picnic area to eat lunch or snacks - plenty of parking - very reasonable prices for the veggies picked for the pick-your-own experience Cons - they advertised to us that there were blueberries to pick, but there were barely any. We ended up just giving away the small pile of blueberries we found to another family and got some green beans instead - prices for their baked goods seem a little overpriced Great place for family with little ones! Hope to be back again soon! read more

Really great Family Farm Day for me and my daughter. My brother recommended this farm for us to go to on a Sunday morning and it was a blast. We had the chance to pick strawberries, snap peas, and radishes, while boarding a wagon to take us to the fields for picking. There are separate prices for everything so things got kinda pricey. You pay for the picking of fruits and veggies then pay separately for a wrist band to go in the kids play area. My daughter had a blast picking the veggies and fruits fresh from the fields for us and was ready to eat them when we got home. The kids had a chance to play in the water areas, where there were sprinklers and a playground. There was also go karts for kids and adults, which was really fun to expereince with my daughter, nephew and brother. When it comes to food, I expected more choices but we ended up getting 2 hotdogs and 2 sodas and some cookies. To make this a 5 star review, I would add more options for food. read more

These pictures were taken a week ago! So my guess is if you haven't yet gone there's still some time to make it over to the farm for a hayride to see beautiful flowers. For $8 you get a hayride with two stops. One with all these pretty flowers and the second to pick your own. Go as early as you can, the crowds were def thinner. Our 5:30 ride had maybe three families and were spread out but when we were leaving the crowds def got larger. Once you get off you can roam around each stop as long as you want and there's a wagon that circles once every probably 15 minutes. We spent maybe an hour taking a LOT of pictures but we didn't want to pick any flowers so we just stayed on when people got off for the second stop. We stopped in the store for some donuts and pie afterwards. Perfect evening. read more

While the farm offers lots of activities, I found many was lacking or overpriced. Lacking - if you are not on the pumpkin bay ride, it's very slim pickings. There weren't very many food options and the one available had the long line ever. Apple cider slushie was SO SO sweet. Kids play area - I don't mind paying for my child but why is there a fee for adults to come supervise?? Makes absolutely no sense. Farm definitely has potential to be great but definitely a few things need to be changed. read more

Johnson's Corner Farm is probably the most popular farm in the area, and anyone growing up locally has been here a handful of times. The Farm offers a "Farm Market" that sells their local produce and baked goods, tractor rides, seasonal fruit & veggie picking, a children's area with play equipment and a splash pad, and a small "zoo" where you can feed goats, chickens and cows. Each activity has a small fee associated with it. Outside they market they have a small stand that sells food. They also host seasonal events. In the Fall for 2019 they had a great craft fair and outdoor concert. Most recently I stopped here to grab their new "Pie Samplers" which offer scoops of their 6 different pies. Each were super delicious. read more

Pretty surprised by the reviews for Johnson's. We've been here for a few fall events and birthday parties. Im not sure what people expect going to a farm but Johnsons is one of my favorite. Overpriced and overhyped. They charge you for everything but air but don't be surprised if they start to. How do you charge parents to get into a playground to supervise their kids?!? Obscene. They use to be a nice place to go with your family but greed got them.. save your money. read more

Welcome to Johnson's farm where we create unnecessary line on a Sunday. I don't get why we can't just walk over to the apple farm as its faster to walk than wait for a ride. You guy should make a path and give us the option instead of finding every way to make some extra money. The hay ride is not fun anyway and doesn't provide any details about the farm. The actual picking farm itself is smaller than I expected but we'll organized. When we were here, there isn't much variety available yet. They also said don't eat the apple on farm but how do I know it's sweet. The tree feels a bit smaller than other places I been to. Therefore you can't hide and picnic. It does get hot during midday sun. Btw it's not a picnic apple farm. We get to see some cool looking pumpkin. But after that, it's about it. The shop is okie. I did enjoy the apple cider donut but you can't hate that. read more

A great place to come with the family. You can easily spend the whole day here. They have everything for the kids here including hayrides, pick your own produce/fruits, farm animals, splash park and other fun stuffs for the kids. We came here during the weekday to avoid the weekend crowd and picked our own strawberries. The strawberries were delicious and sweet. This was such a fun experience. We started off by taking a hay ride. We got to the apple orchard and I went to my favorite Fuji apples. We tried other apples and I loved the face that there were descriptions of the taste of and use for the apples. We only intended to pick apples but the ease of hay ride and the beauty of the sunflowers lured us to take the next stop. We really enjoyed seeing the beauty of fall. After the pumpkin patch and sunflowers we headed back to the entrance. On our way out we went to the store and had a fun time getting apple cider and apple pies. The flow of the store was pretty easy. There was a separate stand for donuts. That line was pretty long but the donuts were good. There was another store with decorations and that was extremely fun to window shop. All in all it was a good trip. read more
