He was personable, confident, and made me feel at ease despite it being my first time trying out this new style. I'm definitely happy with the outcome. However, last time I went it was finally donation time! 11 inches cut off! I am someone who normally dries my hair, hot irons my hair, etc. to fight the natural wave in it. This time I asked Kris if she would do a cut that worked with my natural wave/curl so that I could simplify my morning routine. Well, I don't know how she did it but between the lightly layered cut she gave me and the Moroccan curl cream I have never liked a haircut more! The cut brings out so much natural curl- I didn't even realize I had! And I save so much time every morning! I'm really impressed with Kris' ability to listen to her clients desires and then make it happen! I work in a women's clothing store and I am getting so many compliments! Kris is also reasonably priced and occupies her own space - so it's a nice and relaxing place to get your hair or nails done. I highly recommend!

Thankfully, Melissa knows how to cut men's hair, and she does a knockout job. Melissa is really great at getting to know exactly what it is that you're looking for, both before and during the haircut. She'll ask questions to confirm what it is that you want before doing anything, which is nice. She also washes your hair and has you style it the same way you normally would before going back in and adding finishing touches that cater to you. I've been to other salons that cost more, but I feel like those places charge you for the experience. Here, you get a truly personal, polished haircut on top of a great experience (beverages, warm scented towel over your face during the wash, etc.) I refuse to go anywhere else.
