I stopped for gas and the as I was trying to use my card realized that the keypad on the pump…read moredidn't work. I then moved to a second pump. I put the nozzle in my car and let go, then soon after realized that gas was coming out of the hose and on to the ground (and my shoe!) I put the nozzle back on the pump and got in my car then realized that not a drop of gas entered my car! I was clearly still on empty. I went inside to let the cashier know and he said he did already know that the pump was leaking but thought he put a bag on it (NO BAG!) I told him that I needed a refund after not getting any of the gas in my vehicle and he replied that I would need to speak to the owner who was not there. He said he had no idea what to do but I needed to come back the next day. I asked if he would write a note to leave for the owner and he said, "No, I can't because I'm leaving tomorrow for Houston." He was completely useless, not at all helpful and incompetent. I did, however, return the next day and spoke to the person at the register. He said that he knew the pump was leaking and fixed it this morning. Then proceeded to tell me that it was my responsibility to know if the pump was leaking and working correctly before using it. After a few minutes of going back and forth about the responsibility of the equipment, he did give my money back and said that he would also review the surveillance footage to verify if it was really me and if it really happened. I am completely appalled at the service considering that they knew their equipment was faulty and then tried to say that I held some responsibility. Although this place is convenient, I will not return and will not give them my business. There are several other gas stations in Caldwell that provide good customer service.

Dishonest advertising of their gas prices. While driving through town I noticed their price was a…read morefew cents cheaper than Shell just down the street so I stopped for gas. While pumping I noticed that the price on the pump was actually 10c higher than advertised. When I complained, I was told that the price is a cash price, not credit. This does occur, but is usually advertised with the two prices. That is not the case here. When I suggested that they show both, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said they only advertise the cash price.
