Giving one star solely for the fact that this is a self-service wash. I have a roof rack on my car (sedan with a naked roof) and I will not take it off as it's much too hard to get back on.
First off: only quarters. Bummer. No, I don't mean only change, I mean only quarters. So that jar of nickels/dimes you have - save 'em for the Coinstar, bruh. There is a change machine inside, but if you don't have small bills you're leaving here with a big mound of silver coins.
Two. There wasn't a holster for the triple wax gun, so it got tangled up with the water/soap spray gun, and I ended up getting soaked with both of them. Partly my fault, and I'm sure whoever saw the cameras got a good laugh - but it would have been cool if there was a designated spot for it instead of wedging it behind the foaming brush.
I was going to say that it seems like a fair price for the amount of time you get, but I was not satisfied with the end result. Anything I didn't scrub with the foaming brush just did not get clean. The soap spray gun did not seem that soapy, and the change between modes wasn't as noticeable so I'm sure I was soaping when I thought I was rinsing. The glass did not show any kind of cleaning improvement at all.
The spot free rinse was not spot-free, as about 50-75% of the car had some kind of water spot left on it after I was done.. Thankfully it rained the following day and took care of all that.
Finally. Personal pet peeve.
Ok.. so... Maybe I'm just being difficult here, but I have to knock a star or two off for the payment options. I just have to ask. Man, it's 2020. Space X is sending people to the moon, we have virtual reality, and cars have wifi. You can have a temperature probe on your grill that beams to your phone so you know when your chicken is done. Cars are self-driving. Why are we still having ONLY cash options at places? I have been to many self-service car washes with credit card acceptance, and it's MUCH easier to swipe, wash, and then finish. One payment, no feeding quarters, and I'm in and I'm out on whatever time it takes me. read more
