Their finish is impracticable, they did my kitchen and cabinets and they look so high end, I am very happy with the end result. The team was very helpful and accommodating during the design process of my kitchen. The renders they did definitely helped me visualize how the final product was going to look like. Michael, the lead project manager, comes personally himself to take the measurements, this shows you how dedication and precision is important in their work. After working with them I now refer them to my colleagues to do their kitchens, closets, and even bathroom vanities with them. It has been a great experience overall. A team such as the Fields Remodeling team is very hard to find nowadays because everyone of them takes pride in what they do. Thank you again.

Updated review! See below!…read more Im going two stars because their work seems to be very nice (from the photos I can see on their site). The problem is getting them to contact you back. I have called, listened to the message about them being busy and to send a text. So I sent a text, no response. I emailed from their contact page on the website, no response. Hey if your business is doing so well that you can't return a call, text or email I guess more power to you. One would think in this day and age of highly competitive small businesses, that each opportunity would be viewed with a higher regard. Keep searching. Updated review! Since my review, we received a call back from Clint and he promptly scheduled a time to meet with us. This was our third meeting with concrete contractors. Clint was helpful and certainly more knowledgeable than the other two companies we met with. He provided a proposal within 24 hours, which was great as we had to wait several days from the other companies. After reviewing the proposals and Yelp, we decided to give CLC our business. To our surprise within a couple days, Clint had an opening for demo. Once the demo was completed the new concrete pour was schedule for a few days later. Great thing about Clint was that he took the time to explain the process to us. For the most part things went according to plan. Like with any construction project, you will have hiccups or issues. The key is how those issues are addressed and how fast they are resolved. We did have a few issues and Clint was quick to provide a resolution. There were some moments during the coloring process where we got a bit nervous as the color didn't appear to be what we selected. Clint kept reminding to trust him and the process. We did and our driveway came out absolutely amazing 10 out of 10. Couldn't be happier. Given the size of our porch and the elevation code, we had to use a different material. Which again, made us a bit nervous. Clint did a great jon of matching the color and texture. There were a few questionable spots, but it's important to remember that we are working with concrete and stone. Nothing will ever be perfect. Porch grade is a 8 out of 10. Given Clint's effort, attention to detail and his desire to ensure his clients are happy, he definitely earned this 5 star review. If you are looking for high quality concrete work at a reasonable price, make sure you contact CLC! Thanks Clint

Jon and his team are very professional, prompt, and work tirelessly to deliver a great product. They would come in on time everyday, and wouldn't leave until the tasks for that day were complete. My home is under total remodeling, but the flooring in it was very old school. I was looking to revamp the interior and we need to tile our kitchen, living room, and foyer - total 720 sq ft. was able to do exactly that. Not only is his team very diligent when they work, they show respect and polite to other sub contractors working alongside. I called Jonathan up for an estimate and he came out right on time, and sent me a quote that night. When I ordered some tile, he started work right away. ~720 square feet completed in less than 4 days! He even went the extra mile to get some of his affiliates to install tiles in a small area as per my request with on charge. The finished flooe looks fantastic. If you're looking for a contractor that you can trust with your home and offers a reasonable price, look no further. You need to go with Dejer Tile!

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the high-quality result. Because this type of tile is still fairly new and less common, I noticed that a lot of the tile contractors I contacted here in the South Bay didn't seem to know how to handle this job. Many other contractors proposed techniques that were clearly wrong. In contrast, Jonathan from Dejer Tile stood out by observing upfront that this type of tile is fragile and the installation needs to be done delicately. He knew what to do, and gave me a lot of confidence in his experience and expertise. And the entire job went very smoothly. The team were very careful in their templating for the tile cuts, paying a lot of close attention to both aesthetic impact and practical considerations. And they performed the installation two weeks later, with top-notch results. I was very pleased with how well they handled all the little details, including tiny but uniform grout lines (1/16") and clean edge finishes. I will definitely call upon Dejer Tile again for future tiling jobs, especially anything that involves thin porcelain tile.

Basil did a FANTASTIC job as the contractor on our completely remodeled home and it is AMAZING!…read more(apologies in advance for the long detailed comments below but wanted to support my last statement). My wife and I purchased a home over a year ago in Redwood City and given how hot the market was at that time, we decided to buy a fixer upper. We decided we were going to gut the entire house down to the bare bones (keep the existing roof and underlying foundation). We knew this would be a monumental task given my wife and I work full time (and neither of us have ever done a remodel) and needed a very experienced and knowledgeable contractor with solid subs who could execute on the remodel plan we put together with our architect (and it was very involved). We expected high quality work given a full home remodel (but stay within a reasonable budget given the cost to remodel) but needed someone who would be honest and practical (because you can't always get what you want given City limitations). Additionally, we didn't want to get hit as much with the typical ridiculous change orders we've heard others went through. We wanted someone who could work with us closely and would work through a detailed budget with us to think through all the possible costs (with some cushion) to ensure we minimize the change orders... so we needed someone who listens and is collaborative. After doing our diligence, we went with Basil Zaru. Most contractors we met with reviewed our plans and gave us an estimate on paper with different phases and then it was up to us to ask questions. Basil took a different approach. He not only went through the detailed remodel plans and gave us a price with phases broken down, he also detailed out in more specifics and sat down with us numerous times to think through what could be missing, what is purposely omitted (because have to be at a certain point in the remodel process to know what the next step is or depends on how expensive the homeowner wants to go) and where cushion should be added to certain aspects given his expectations of what he's seen in the past and what the City likes and doesn't like. Not only that, he caught a drafting design issue that he worked to fix and improve (even the architect thought it was a great change!) so that we could maximize space.\ Basil is easy to work with and is practical when possible. He'll offer suggestions to improve aspects of the project as needed and can be very accommodating. He's also very aggressive when it comes to timelines with his subs and expecting the best quality. I've stood there many times as he really pushed his subs to fix little things here and there which is key. He expects high quality work from the subs he employs, he checks everything they do and steps in and helps when he sees a problem coming up. Lastly, we had some pretty big screw ups from other vendors and Basil stepped in and laid down the law and figured out workarounds when those third party vendors should have figured that out on their own without his help. He even went out and found some other vendors to help us compare last minute given the screw ups from the other vendors. Additionally, nothing is ever perfect with a home remodel and to make it even more challenging with COVID, it was hard to manage vendor and sub schedules (along with the City) but Basil worked around all of that. Timed things well and moved ahead on work when needed to get things done for City approval in order to prevent more delays. Basil overall did an amazing job and I would highly recommend him for any project (small or full blown remodeling jobs) you might be considering. He's easy to work with, collaborative, has high expectations for his subs on the job to get great quality work and is transparent and honest if he sees roadblocks up the road and is willing to go the extra mile to make it all work.
