I had not gone for years due to covid and they did not care, they just treated me great and are getting me on the road to better dental health. The Medina office is in a cool old building and it is very calming. Their technology is top notch. Donna who sets the appointment is very friendly and helpful. ***CAVITY FILL NIGHTMARE*** This is a long one, but worth…read morethe read. I had been a patient here for years and had lots of good experiences. That's until I let them know I was moving, and attitudes seemed to change. I needed three cavities filled and was able to squeeze in an appointment a few days before my move. It was a long and uncomfortable experience. I believe I was given too much numbing cream and was extremely numb for a good part of the day. The dental assistant even made a comment, "wow, you're really numb". When they finished, I went down the hall to use the restroom. When I looked in the mirror, I immediately noticed a change to one of my teeth. I have the front four bonded and it was clear that one had been chipped. I went back into the office and was brushed off by the lady that did the fillings. Thinking I was crazy, I left and went home. Looking again in the car and when I went home, I was certain there was a small chip and a bit of a jagged edge to my tooth. With my move around the corner, I debated on going back. That's until I tried to floss... between the teeth that were filled, I could barely get floss in and actually broke my floss trying. At this point, I knew I had to go back. When I sat down and explained to the dentist about the chip and problem getting floss in between the filled teeth, he literally shrugged his shoulders at me. ZERO apology for chipping my tooth. I understand my teeth are bonded, but this has not happened in decades, and was clearly their doing. He said my options were to file the rough edge or CHARGE ME $200 to add bonding. Yes, the bonding THEY broke, I would have to pay to get fixed. It was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had with a business. I honestly just wanted to get out of there, so had him file it. This left me with a slightly larger gap, but I figured I would just live with it. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I'm now moved across country. One of the teeth that they filled, is now sensitive to cold and I'm going to have to find a dentist quickly to look at it and fix it. WOW. I am absolutely disgusted at the whole situation and they will not receive a penny from me, outside of what they've taken from insurance. This was a reminder, that you never really know someone or a company, until you do. I would warn anyone going here, that they may present to have your best interest in mind, until they don't.

I was still willing, but the way the receptionist said, "That's okay with you isn't it, that he takes a break??" was a bit unpleasant. I didn't even know the guy! I expressed my concern about having unnecessary xrays taken. They assured me it'd just be one. The dental assistant was clearly just learning, though and she ended up having to retake the same one three times. Then I tried to confirm with the 'son dentist' that he knew the safe protocol for Mercury/silver amalgam filling removal. He was clearly not thrilled at answering questions, let alone having to be there in the office - he slogged around the office slowly and kept loudly sighing - It'd have --- almost --- been funny if I hadn't needed him to fix my teeth... The dental dam was placed incorrectly. My mouth underneath it by the end was full of broken pieces of silver filling. He didn't cover my body or my face during it, they don't use oxygen to breathe instead of mercury vapor, it was just a mess of incompetence and this grudging attitude. A few months later I called and requested my records and X-rays be sent to a new dentist. For some reason the receptionist was nasty and I could tell she wasn't going to do it. I called many times, but they never sent them - so I had to once again have unnecessary xrays retaken.
