Cynthia at the front desk was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Harris was very thorough and patient. I have had glasses the last 3 years and I dont feel like I've ever had a proper eye exam anywhere else after how thorough he was in my son's exam. He made my son feel so comfortable. He talked us through the whole process and explained everything to me along the way. He also kept my son involved in the process, telling him how to take care of his glasses and how they would help with him. At the end of the exam, Cynthia went through all the glasses that my son wanted to try on (there was quite a few and he was a little picky) and encouraged him to pick the ones that he loved the most. She helped make the process of picking his first pair of glasses a more relaxed, exciting process. We were never rushed and I never felt like we were just money in their pockets. I cannot brag enough. This office truly showed great patient care. I work for doctors myself so I am always thrilled when I step into an office that makes me feel as comfortable as if I was in my own doctors' office. Now, on the day of the exam, they call me and inform me that they refuse to do an eye exam without also doing a fitting. The lens fitting which I already have done is a) not covered by the insurance that they checked on the day of the booking b) over $1600 out of pocket. My glasses prescription is unusual after cataract…read moreextraction and lens implants in both eyes 16 years ago and detached retinas and laser weld in both eyes, the right eye being more recent in 2019, and then having scar tissue pull a small hole in the retina in 2024, which was resolved by steroid drops. Not mention astigmatism in both eyes. But they took time with the refraction in December 2025, and now I have a great pair of progressive lenses that leave my readers in the case and give me so much better vison than before! Came to Kelly Vision Center after years with a much larger and better known eye institute ;) which was also good but which my new insurance no longer covered. Kelly Vision Center is top-notch, and I recommend them to anyone in Madison, Goodlettsville, and farther.

They literally lied about my insurance policy trying to make me paid extra, so I ask them check my policy. They told me that they have some sort of package, so do not expect your BCBS will cover, they refused take care me us was last year, they scheduled my appointment, I make office, they started, but than they ask me paid out of packet extra, which I never paid because insurance cove, they're cancel my appointment and kick me out... Absolutely ridiculous! I don't know if only I was treated that poorly, but my question is why we're millions Americans buying this insurance?
