I told him once that I was very grateful he was younger than me! I won't have to try an find another cuz I believe God broke that mold after this special man was created!!! This world just doesn't have people in much these days that care about anyone or thing but their own!!!! Dr.Hungerford has a gentle manner and he is kind to his patients. He is more knowledgeable then my previous doctors and was able to help me balance my medication so I can manage my health. Listen by the time you need an endocrinologist your body is suffering and your spirit is crushed. There isn't a cure for hypothyroidism but medication and diet can help you. Many people get angry at a permanent auto immune disease and might reflect that anger in their reviews but I have seen what a bad endocrinologist is like and Dr.Hungerford is the best I have ever met. My decision to choose Dr Chris Murphy as my primary care doc came because of professional reviews that were given to me and over the last two years I have been a patient and fully satisfied. The office staff is friendly and professional, my time with Dr. Murphy never seems rushed and they follow up as needed with appointments and labs. I was referred to this office for extreme back pain. After waiting for a couple months, I had an…read moreoffice visit to see PA Stapleton. She said that my lower back MRI did not indicate necessity for any surgery. She then sent me to get another MRI for my upper back/neck, and she would let me know the results. A few days after the second MRI, I got a message from her assistant to call for those results. When I called back, I was given the MRI results by a receptionist in medical terms I did not understand and to seek more help from my primary. I was told that no surgery was necessary. That was it. No explanation why I have extreme pain in my spine. I get it, if I don't need surgery, but something is causing my pain. How disappointing to spend over $500 for MRI's and office visits to get results from a receptionist. Now I will have to put our more money to try and find someone who will help me. I will not recommend this office. I guess I should have check YELP before I made the first appointment. Sharon E.

I could…read morenever get in same day and in the one case where I could I ended up waiting 3 hours past my appointment time before being seen (due to their urgent care offered) So far this group has been easy to get in same day, and keeps appointment times running on schedule. Even so, the time with the FNP or MD have not been rushed and didn't feel like I was only allotted A 10 min max block. My initial intake was thorough and involved, and I feel I wasn't wasting their time with questions and concerns. They took the time and care needed to discuss and explain ideas, suggestions and alternatives to the symptoms. They also have an onsite blood work department who were equally efficient and productive. It was a welcome change from previous experiences w other local practices. Ok hopeful this level of care will continue.

They don't work on Fridays, and many offices take 1 to 1.5 hours for lunch. When you call within those very limited hours you can often wait on hold for 13 to 27 minutes. Each time, they will tell you that they are short staffed. This has been my experience for the last 5 years without exception. Short staffed? Isn't that just bad HR management?

Her response was "you know, if you weren't so short with me I could work with you on it" I was shocked that any personnel would treat a patient that way.
