My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points. While my resume could use a few tweaks, the starter package is a great option if you're looking for a resume overhaul without doing all the guess work. I found the resume consultation surprisingly useful. Would highly recommend it and consider the packages!

My daughters (7 and 9; i.e., 2nd and 4th grade) and I have been doing weekly cognition and reading…read morecomprehension classes (over zoom) with Alexander for over half a year now. Alexander provides a safe and supportive environment where no questions/thoughts are incorrect. But also introduces structure and aids the kids to really delve deeply into comprehending what is being read and providing them with the language necessary to clearly voice and support their opinions/thoughts. I find that even as a well educated person with a graduate degree I am sometimes surprised at the thought processes he introduces to the kids and how they can help them with comprehending what is being read. I have found that the girls went from initially not being able to specifically voice and contemplate questions about a story to now be able to think very critically about all levels of a story. The discussions really provide the kids with questions that spark curiosity about their reading and adapt their thinking to expand on a story at different levels (e.g., on a local and global level). For example, how the kids empathize with characters and/or providing them with a structure to discuss their own inferences on the story or a character while including support for their thoughts (utilizing both examples from their own lives as well as from the text). We have loved working with Alexander and look forward to many more great discussions.

I hired Janet to write me a professional government resume. She sent me a questionnaire that was…read moremostly filled out and told me to changed it. I changed it that night and sent it back to her. She sent me a follow up email accusing me of sending her what she sent me. I told her it was different and I just emboldened the letters. She did not believe me and asked me to send her an updated resume. She finally looked at the questionnaire again and told me that I filled it out. She did not apologize or admit wrong doing. She finally completed the resume. It was a page and a half, even after she told me beginner resumes should be three pages. Two weeks later my dad called her, she was rude to him, claimed she finished with me two weeks ago, even though she did not recall our interaction. She explained she did not have much to work with and that's why it was a page and a half. This is complete bunk, my past career coach made me a resume that was three pages long and much better. Thankfully my parents covered the 350 for the resume because this was a complete rip off. Horrible customer service, horrible resume. She conned my parents and I, she should of had more integrity and said she could not help me. Instead she conned my family out of 350 dollars. I will never work with her again. And all I can say to anyone considering her services is stay away. The resume she could make is not worth the headache of dealing with her bad attitude.
