Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I initially left a 1-star review because I was disappointed with the service and the lack of results. After I posted the review, I was contacted and asked to remove it. I was told that they would work with me, take a better approach, and help me with my job search, and I was given assurances that I would receive better support and results. Based on those assurances, I decided to give the service another chance and removed my review. Unfortunately, after giving them approximately another two months, I did not notice any meaningful improvement or change in my job-search results. I have several years of IT and cybersecurity experience and relevant industry certifications, and I have been actively applying for cybersecurity positions. Despite this, I did not see the level of recruiter interest, interviews, or opportunities that I expected after investing $1,800 in professional career coaching. I understand that no career coaching company can guarantee someone a job, and I never expected an absolute guarantee of employment. However, when someone pays $1,800 for a professional coaching service, they should reasonably expect personalized guidance, a clear strategy, consistent support, and measurable progress. What was especially disappointing to me was that I removed my original 1-star review because I trusted the assurances that things would improve. After giving the service additional time, I still did not see meaningful changes. I am sharing this review based on my personal experience so that others can make an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money on career coaching. Unfortunately, for me, the $1,800 investment did not provide the value or results I was expecting.

WORST EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE RESUME....STAY AWAY!…read more I hired Paul Maraschiello, owner and employee of Associated Resume Writers, to write an entry level resume for me. After speaking with many people and companies, I decided on Paul because he had 10 years of social service experience, the field I am entering, as well as 20+ years of experience in resume writing. The first meeting went fine and although I didn't care for his personality a whole lot, I needed someone experienced to write a great resume. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Right before he sent me the resume, I spoke with him briefly to provide a few pieces of information. I had to clarify multiple times that foster home and group home are not interchangeable terms. For someone with experience in this field, I found that a bit unnerving. Also, there were other pieces of information I told him I didn't want in the resume and he didn't listen and included those anyway. I had many conversations with him following this, mostly through email but a few conversations over the phone, and he was incredibly insulting towards me. He blamed the resume being pathetic on my lack of experience rather than his lack of effort. There were misspellings, grammatical and formatting errors. He didn't even spell my address right, which I spelled out for him. Beyond the technical errors, he didn't seem to have a grasp of my field which is part of the reason I hired him. In one conversation, he even told me that I may need to go and work with "retarded people" to gain further experience. Unbelievably offensive! He became incredibly rude and even hung up on two of our phone conversations. Apparently he didn't enjoy me telling him that I was contacting the BBB about his business, his complete lack of professionalism, and his inability to provide a satisfactory service. Hopefully this review will help someone from making the same mistake I did. Although I cannot speak on behalf of the other services he provides, I can say that I would steer clear of this man. I found that he doesn't handle criticism well when it comes to his work. Unfortunately, that's the risk of owning your own business and taking money from people to provide a service. These are my experiences with him so I can't speak for others but I would never choose to work with someone so rude and insulting ever again. One last point, he threatened to take me to court for filing with the BBB and posting any reviews. Both of which I have the right to do under consumer laws....trust me, I checked before doing anything. He also threatened to turn my name into his social services contacts to warn them about me.
