I can't believe a dishonest business like this operates in our community. Do not give them a dime…read moreof your hard-earned money they are dishonest and know exactly what they are doing. I met the owner/manager Nancy seeking a MBA level tutor. She insisted I pay nearly $5000 to retain this tutor and despite my better judgement to hire someone hourly, I paid that amount. She assured me numerous times that if I disliked anything, had any issues she would issue a refund immediately. It was these false promises that swayed my judgement. After paying that amount, I was reaching out to them, they did not call me. After numerous calls and emails a tutor was still not assigned to me. When they finally did respond they said the tutor was only available once a week on Saturdays 9 am-11am. How would this work with upcoming assignments and finals? When I was finally assigned a tutor I was told after the first and only session he was headed abroad to China? I immediately requested a refund as that is their only MBA level tutor and they have no other alternatives. I have been fighting with them since May to get my money back. Nancy has lied to my face saying she processed a refund. My bank and I have not received a dollar. Please do not be fooled by the google reviews. I have to take them to court to get my money back.

My 3 kids have been going to C2 since 2018. There have been several different management teams over…read morethis period that did a very good job organizing and communicating around my children's tutoring. We benefited from solid gains in SAT scores too. However, we are very disappointed in the current team of young women who co-manage the interface with parents and tutoring for our kids. Major communication shortfalls / mistakes over and over again, that have a big impact on us. I receive very infrequent feedback, compared to previous management, on the accurate progress of my child. And after thousands of dollars spent, her SAT text scores have not increased. Disaster! In contrast we saw solid results increases for our other kids. Aside from poor management and communication the young and inexperienced management team has no clue on how to structure students' learning plan and schedule. Other problems that could be easily addressed are: 1. tutoring classes being full and hence limiting our ability to increase tutoring around SAT testing season (late Feb through Early June) to offer tutoring on Fridays or Sunday during the these high testing periods. 2. C2's SAT mock tests for digital have been problematic. Perhaps this is due to it being transition year, but their questions are not reflective with what the kids will be tested on. This is both frustrating for kids and it keeps you in the dark on SAT scoring feedback. 3. Finally, we also bought more sessions hoping to get support on AP classes, but since there is not enough kids doing this those tutoring topics (like NSL, etc), sessions are combined with up to 3 additional kids studying something else. Learningwise this is completely ineffective for our daughter. To top it all off instead of getting regular reports on the number of hours used during the year we got a last minute warning that we only have 4 hours left, one months before the the SAT exam. The offered at 30% discount but only if you buy another huge bundle of hours for $7k. If we had to do it again we would have gone somewhere else. In the end, we will be stuck having paid $8-9k for negligible scores improvement.

I purchased the Career Launch Kit for $899 from Your Next Jump (YNJ), along with a cover letter for…read morean additional $100. While I appreciated the professionalism in communication, the overall experience fell short in several important ways. First, there was minimal human interaction throughout the process. At no point did anyone take the time to understand my unique career goals--whether I was repositioning myself for a new industry, returning to the workforce after a break, or targeting a specific type of role. The service felt highly templated and lacked the strategic depth I expected from a career consulting company. They did want me to submit two job opportunities, to get an understanding of the roles I wanted to apply to, but by the time YNJ completed their services, those roles are obsolete. YNJ emphasizes their move toward AI- and tech-driven solutions, but this focus seems out of sync with recent hiring trends and feedback from recruiters nationwide, who have voiced growing concerns about the authenticity and accuracy of AI-generated materials (https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/21/business/dealbook/ai-job-applications.html?smid=url-share). Unfortunately, that disconnect was evident in the documents I received. They don't need to be experts in every field, but there's a noticeable lack of industry knowledge that makes it difficult for them to highlight critical, role-specific functions. Drafts were returned with errors--including incomplete sentences and exaggerated or unclear claims--so I had to carefully review everything to avoid misrepresenting myself. Revision times of 24-48 hours (even for minor edits) created unnecessary delays in my job search. And conversations with Tim felt rushed and surface-level; I was never fully confident that my feedback was truly understood or applied. I did call YNJ to discuss these concerns before posting this review, but they did not respond, I'm assuming it is because they already received their payment. I had roughly five different hiring managers review their work, and none were impressed. While the general template that they utilize is unique to their services and adds a splash of color amid the monotonous pile of resumes, nothing really stands out. In the end, Your Next Jump's work may serve as a basic starting point, but if you're a professional with a nontraditional background, transitioning industries, or aiming for mid-to-senior level roles, you'll likely need to invest significant time refining their drafts yourself--or seek more strategic, personalized support elsewhere.

I have never wrote a review before but feel obligated to due to my experience…read more I purchased the Job Search essential package for fixing up my resume and I have to say I am incredibly disappointed with the service. They didn't bother trying to understand my job or what career I am looking for and basically just copy and pasted my previous resume but in a different template. The very few changes they made were sentences that were incoherent, repetitive (used the same sentence several times throughout the resume), and full of typos. No amount of "unlimited back and forth between the writer" is going to salvage poor and lazy writing. You're better off saving your money and doing it yourself or passing it through ChatGPT (which I am pretty sure they are doing anyways). The 5/5 star reviews for this company are clearly purchased/bots. Christina J.'s review is spot on for the experience
