I did not receive a message back until shortly before 9 pm on Friday. When I called back, I heard automated message saying they are all out on vacation for next couple weeks. It's hard- no - it's impossible to get any kind of decent service from "un"professional tax (experts?) around here. I'm taking my business to Virginia where my friends get good service. My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points.
