He told me on the 7th he was two weeks from finishing a bathroom and would call then to schedule. After almost a month I contacted him and he told me he was two weeks from finishing a bathroom ... seriously. He didn't even bother to try a new story. So we agreed to mid- February. He was supposed to meet at our house on February 8, but he didn't call or show up. The next day he called and said his father was in the hospital. On February 22, I requested that we end the nonsense and he said he would return our money. That was the last we ever heard from him. Now sixty-three days later I am sending a folder full of emails to the Attorney General.

It has taken us five months but we are finally getting our work done, beautifully, at about 1/3 of the price quoted from these people. Clearly, Robinson & Son did not want our money. I am thankful on their behalf, that they do so well that they can blow off legitimate work and offend the people who might hire them. Best of luck! But I would never, ever approach them again.
