First- he made good on a years old quote for replacing a dozen old windows with insulated units. Next- the craftsmen were polite, respectful and quick. Then- they cleaned up and hauled away the old panes, except for one large old wavy "pre-float" glass that i liked because i can appreciate the look of that type of glass. AND if you are looking for a greenhouse, check out their beautiful glass and wood buildings! I saw one art the Art and Vineyard Festival.

They now have a suspended license are listed as "permanently closed" on Google, and my kitchen just has cabinet boxes without drawers, doors or tops, we don't have a sink, the stove and dishwasher aren't hooked up. The project was started in December. Originally we were told it would be finished by March. We had no communication from then in January. I reached out in February.

They have amazing displays of all the pavers they sell so you know exactly what color each is and how it looks all put together. Justin was incredibly patient tending to lots of customers and answering my questions. I went home armed with a catalog that showed all the pavers and suggested patterns. A few days later, I went back with the measurements of my wooden frames. Justin sat down with his calculator and calculated the number of pavers and various types of sand and base material I needed. After I finished putting it all together, I was amazed to have less than 5 pavers and one bag of sand left! If you are willing to do the work, these folks can head you in the right direction so things turn out nicely. Sometimes construction folks are annoyed to have women ask for help, but everyone there was friendly and patient with my questions. Very good humored group of guys.

We were not the easiest customers. We had never built before, used a custom design, AND insisted on being involved in many ways that probably weren't convenient for Mark (our build manager). After mediation I signed a waiver releasing stonewood of future issues. Fast forward to 2021 when mold appeared suddenly on my ceiling and drywall tape started separating. To my dismay, Stonewood Construction did not follow my city approved plans and the entire roof was not vented. Anyone familiar with a shed style roof knows that the venting is different then your traditional roof. The damage is extensive, estimated at $70,000 including removal of a large section of the roof. Stonewood Construction has chosen not to cover the damage, falling back on the old totally unrelated CCB agreement. This is their right. However they do not appear to have the ethical standards to pay for this repair. It was their huge mistake, and I believe that an excellent company would take care of this regardless of the CCB board ruling because it is the RIGHT thing to do. Buyer beware!!!!
