From start to finish John's roofing was done professionally. We were very pleased. He came out and bid our roof and guttering. Once they started the project the roof was done in one day and the guttering was done the next. All the old materials were hauled away. Not only was I pleased with the work but I was also pleased with the cleanup. I did not find any roofing nails laying around, there was no splashed paint (we also had the guttering, and trim painted), and the workers left my property looking as it did before they started. Since this roof was installed we have had one of the wettest springs in Dallas. There has not been any leaks and with all the rain thank goodness we decided to have all the guttering replaced as well. Would I recommend John's roofing? That's a definite yes! read more

Had a section of my roof that was damaged after 2 old Directv dishes were blown off their mounts and took the shingles and the wood with it. After all the snow we've had ,I was worried about it caving in. I called John at 9:30 AM, on a Saturday, explained to him the situation, he took all my information down and said they will come out to today and check out my roof. An hour later Joe Butler, the Field Supervisor, called me and said they will be at my house at 1:30. They arrived even earlier than promised, which was great. He and one of his guys,Tavo, got up on my roof, checked out the problem and gave me an estimate. They said we can have this fixed by today. Price was great and we moved forward. Just want to say they do not cut any corners at all. Joe said they will replace the section of rotting wood completely and replace the shingles. He even ran to Home Depot and purchased some new wood on the spot. Overall, I will definitely be a return customer. When it's time for my roof to be changed, I will give them a call. They were very responsive and able to start work immediately after looking at my leaky skylight. Probably a little expensive but they gave us a better option rather than having to replace the whole skylight. Overall pleased to have it fixed and a warranty if anything were to go wrong. read more

So Hail hit our roof last month, and I wasn't sure who to use. I asked my friends for a referral, and they told me about these guys. Just moved into my new house in Rockwall. I had over 225' of gutters and 11 downspouts. I called John's roofing for assistance cleaning out all the gutters and take away pipes as well as make any adjustments necessary. Next day service! Done in less than 2 hours and the gentleman named Gabriel, even went above and beyond the call of duty and cleaned off the roof of my carport! If your looking, for a excellent roofing company that does exactly what they say they will do, look no further. I speak from experience. I had the not so pleasant opportunity to experience that with John's Roofing & Gutter Service. I originally just wanted to install some turbines on my roof and called John's Roofing. It was a small job but He was at my house in less than an hour to quote me. Fantastic response! After looking he notice my roof was seconds and explained to me that it was not going to last long. I had already had it repaired twice, but he didn't know that, where the gravel came off and it looked like a white fiber on the edges of shingles. Very noticeable on a black roof so I had them replaced as they appeared. I was suspect of the shingles and hated to admit it but, I made a mistake using a company I know nothing about. They used an inferior product and I wasn't smart enough to realize it. The company went out of business so don't worry about them, but I'm sure there are others out there. I had replaced the roof about 6 years before after a hail storm. So therefore, I am keeping my last name a secret so no one (that knows me) will know what a dummy looks like :) Except John and he swore to secrecy. Remember, I was just going to get some turbines installed on my roof. I had just done a massive renovation of my flower beds around my home and spent a lot of money on shrubs and flowers to make it look good. Replacing a roof now was out of sequence to the way things should be done. I knew I was suspect of the shingles having to make repairs twice before because the gravel come off the shingles. John confirmed it when he looked at my house to quote my small job of installing turbines. After some thought and the concerns I had about my roof I decided to just go ahead and replace it again. I wasn't going to be taken this time. So I did my homework. I read reviews and checked with the BBB about John's Roofing to help insure it. I gave John the job because he also promised to make sure no damage would come to my newly planted shrubs and flowers and if it did he would replace it. To make an already long review shorter, the damage happened and he did what he said would do. He replaced them. I think he hand picked the shrubs damaged because they looked better than what I had planted already. The roof is done I have my dang roof vents, but most of all I have a much better feeling about my roof lasting 30 years. UNLESS we get more hail...But if we do I'm calling John's Roofing to have it repaired. Quality work, quality product and lives up to his word. What else you want? After having a terrible experience with another contractor, I was reluctant to hire another one. Project manager James Denton has restored my confidence in contractors. He was very professional, did exactly what he said he would do, and finished ahead of time. He even had great suggestions regarding colors and style of shingles and gutters that I ended up being very pleased with. I will never use another company or another Project Manager other than James Denton at John's Roofing. They don't even require upfront payment as most contractors do, which made me feel much more comfortable that they wouldn't leave the job unfinished. And the best part is that cleaned up after themselves every day. read more

I hired John's Roofing (JohnsRoofingTX.com) for an insurance claim for hail damage. Big Mistake! I don't know if the job was too big for them, or if they just have problems running their business professionally, but they attempted to repair everything on my claim, from new roofing, gutters, window screens, painting, AC unit, etc. First of all, they took months to complete a job that should have taken no more than 2 weeks. They accepted the job on May 7, but did not complete it until August 1. Secondly, they are so unprofessional that they were not able to provide me with an itemized bill for services. It is unbelievable that they tried to get me to turn over all my insurance claim checks to them when they did not perform all the necessary work, and some of my claim payments were for my personal items that had nothing to do with them! And perhaps they would have figured that out if they had prepared a final itemized bill for work performed. I recommend avoiding this contractor at all costs! Go somewhere else! read more
