Because these aisles (all five of them ) had me navigating like a semi truck in a parking garage. Tight turns, high stakes. But when I saw that old Kroger sign? My heart did a little boop. It's wild how nostalgia just sneaks up and grabs you by the feelings like that. Honestly, this place isn't just a grocery store, it's a tiny pause button on life. They are located inside of a grocery store, yet do not have almond milk as a non-dairy/milk alternative option. Just typing this out makes me feel super old, but when I was in college about 9 years ago, I worked at Kroger that was remodeled and got a Starbucks. When they ran out of milk, guess what? They went and removed it from inventory from the store and were re-stocked for customers to continue ordering their beverages. Really wild to me that they are not doing that here. Additionally, I was looking through emails while waiting for my coffees/pastries to be ready, and one of the girls said something and pushed out a coffee, but I didn't hear what it was. I asked if she had said either pumpkin or caramel to make sure it would be one of my drinks and she just goes "PUMPKIN" and walked away. Then the 2nd girl slides over a coffee and just stares at me and says nothing, so I asked if it was also mine and she just nodded her head and walked away. A couple of minutes later, the guy who rang me up brings me over my pastries and slides the bag towards me without saying anything. I truly do not understand why no one in there is talking to customers? Just bizarre behavior. When I got out to my car and got situated, I also discovered that he warmed up a muffin I specially said not to. So overall, just really poor customer service. When we come back to Hocking Hills we will make sure to shop somewhere else.

It's NOT an Ohio law. It said that some stores might say no because they can't scan the paper ID. I went to the BP on 79 and they had no problem looking at my paper and expired license. They sold me the beer that I wanted without any problem.

I'm feeling like I'm going to pass out and may need someone she didn't even try to ask anyone she just said um no he is busy working and dragged it out which wasn't necessary I then walked over to a cart and sat down and then asked three different groups of strangers to help and everyone said they were walking different ways so I said aloud " if you see someone on the ground call 911?" And used my cart as a walker what was so important and needed to get to my car fast was either my sugar was too low or high and I needed my oxygen tank out of my car so I wouldn't pass out. I did run into a cart guy right outside the door and I asked him to help me and he did I was confused from not having my oxygen on and told him it could be my sugar but once I got my oxygen on I was good I wanted to go back in but didn't bc I would have had to deal with her again. I tried to call the store to talk to her supervisor on shift to tell their workers if a customer tells you they need assistance you help them especially if it is medical like I told her it was! I tried calling 5 times and talked to someone on their website then today I talked to a manager at the store that I know from being in a small town and he made me feel like she should have helped me and he did apologize I'm just saying if you have medical issues get a wheelchair/scooter that they provide bc today I went back and used one and had my oxygen so it was not as bad as last night I lasted until I got to the car and then I was done haha but I know it helps and I will use them now but I hate the stares I get in that thing is crazy treat you like an invalid sometimes.
