The prices are very reasonable and the selection is good. The quality is outstanding. What attracted me to Mario's Meats is the availability of grass-fed beef at a reasonable price. Mario even has wild game meat in the back such as elk, bison, rabbit, venison and others. You should know that Mario's Meats offer delivery if you meet a certain minimum to make the drive worthwhile. Overall, I cannot recommend Mario's Meats enough. I'll be going back very soon for some Mennonite-raised chicken thighs and eggs, as well as grass-fed ground beef. To be clear, Mario has both, 100% grass-fed beef throughout the lifecycle of the cow and grass finished beef, whereby the cow is put on a grass-only diet during the last 3 months before slaughter.

In this visit, the Tajima Wagyu is on special (frozen) so I decided to give it a try and also get a piece of Hida tenderloin (fresh- not frozen). The meat are packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. I recommend to check out this place if u like Wagyu particularly, and the price is reasonable too. It's expensive but high quality so it's worth it. Off topic abit... after buying the Wagyu, I still think the best way to enjoy Wagyu beef is to cut the waygu into individual smaller byte size pieces and then "pan fry"/grill/bbq on the dining table one piece at a time and then just eat with salt and pepper... so soft and yummy

Knowing Alloro isn't the best at noticing expired products on their shelf, I tried to look at the packaging for an expiry date and could not find one. Normally these salami packages have the expiry date posted on a little white sticker. Oddly enough they had placed a large Alloro price tag over it with the best before date blank. I decided to give it a shot, knowing these last quite a long time. Came home to find the meat smelt disgusting and fuzzy underneath. This is unacceptable for such a high end experience. Also purchased Jalapeños, most of them were mushy in the bin, when we cut it open the seeds were rotting. They seem to be more focused on presentation than actual quality of their products. The Cannoli's purchased also came with an 6 day self life. By day 3 they were mushy and gross. We have constantly given this store a try and unfortunately keep getting disappointed. They had Organic ground chicken yesterday for over 20$ a lb. Went to Fortino's today and that exact same chicken is less than half the price!! Warning all future shoppers to please check expiry dates before purchasing. On a good note: Staff is friendly and product displays are exceptional.
