AWESOME Service!! My…read moreLiberty safe manual tumbler dial combo stopped working after 14 years and I couldn't open it. I called Liberty Safe and asked what to do. They told me a locksmith with the right tools can drill under the dial, line up the tumblers, open the safe and epoxy the hole up afterward. Not looking forward to the epoxied hole, I called Sunshine Lock & Safe to see if they could open the safe and fix the dial combo problem. Avi the owner said no problem and we set up an appointment. The following day he called to let me know he was on his way and he arrived according to plan. He was able to get into the safe without drilling and upon checking the dial combo parts inside he showed me that one of the tumbler disks was actually falling apart. He offered me the option of replacing the dial lock with an electronic lock which I readily accepted. Avi has a LOT of experience, has done many high end jobs with commercial-level safes and knows his trade extremely well. I was an aerospace engineer for over 40 years and I had a lot of questions while watching him work. He's very personable, doesn't mind talking about his trade and has a vast amount of experience which he didn't mind sharing. Very interesting man and clearly an expert at his trade! Technicians arrive without all of the parts needed for the service call requiring a return trip and extra costs. The proposal process is mostly OK but takes a long time. The basic contract is somewhat cumbersome but in the future, if you want to add a piece or two to the system, you have to start the service contract from scratch. My overall assessment is that Deep Valley doesn't care about your time and that it's fine to waste it.
