Also plenty of parking spots available to visit students living on campus. 4/5 Handicap parking spots are available in 2 garages we drove through, however the spots were pretty far away from the classrooms 5/5 for the attempt Visited one of my Favorite Maryland Universities for some reminiscing & shopping for holiday gifts. The items we pre-ordered were ready for us as soon as we asked for them. We then found the other shirts and sweatpants on sale and for the price couldn't pass them by. Had they had additional items & sizes/colors we surely would have bought more for the rest of the family who attended UMBC! The staff was friendly and helpful in the store so overall I would recommend stopping by there and picking up a few items 5/5 for store. 5/5 for the University overall. It was definitely a great visit and we would love to have visited with some professors who have remained there for their career making 3/5 of our family educated professionals. We came here for a Baseball showcase with my son and the baseball field was very nice. it was easy to get to and was wide open. There was plenty of seating as far as bleachers and non-bleacher seats. Parking was easy and the were bathrooms close by the field and were clean . The campus itself when walking through was very clean all the buildings were closed cause it was a Sunday including the cafeteria, but from what I saw that was able to get to and see the campus was very nice.

The Psychology dept got him started in a part time research job with a nearby company while still a student, senior year. After Graduation, he was employed full time by a federal agency near Baltimore. Planning for 2nd son to transfer to Towson from Harford Community College. The only thing I'd change was our approach to living on /near campus instead of commuting, which was our personal choice. Commuting is a lot of hours in the car, which probably could have been study time (or social time), and some of the driving was done while in bad weather. Resident students don't deal with that.

They have a huge cafeteria with a chick-FIL-a, a suchi place and other restaurants in it . They also have little robots that drive around autonomously and deliver food all over the campus. Didn't go in any other buildings so I can really say much about anything other then what I saw but, it seemed like it was a nice campus from my experience.

As with any office building, dress in layers. Although it was a sultry 92 degrees outside; it was a wee bit frosty inside my class. Class sizes are proportionate for proper teacher to student ratio. A bonus is that they offer continental breakfast so that if you are running late your brain cells can be jumpstarted with a cup of joe, taste of tea to go along with your provided pastry. Receptionists were always available to direct, answer questions and greet. There is a small deli on the first floor of the building. Your receptionist has a form you can fax or return to her for speedy pickup of your lunch. Plenty of garage parking, clean restrooms, and break room areas. All instructors were professional and knowledgeable of subject matter. Associated equipment worked as intended.

It is true that you need to conform to a certain religious standard- it is a private school after all- but the caring and nonjudgmental attitude of the dean, Mrs. Rosenbaum, is unmatched by any school in the region. She selflessly makes time for any student who is truly interested in learning. The instructors broach difficult and controversial topics and welcome any and all questions. The level of learning is high but manageable. It is one of the most genuinely open and accepting seminaries , I would dare say, in the world. If I had another three daughters I would send them as well. P.s. There is an optional afternoon and evening program that includes several choices of courses of study to obtain a bachelors. With careful planning it is possible to obtain a bachelors in a year or so as a stepping stone to a graduate degree.

Most of the professors are great, and the classmates are usually working professionals with families, so it's not the same drama that you may get when the class is fresh out of high school. All the classes are in the evenings, and there are computer labs available to do additional work and printing your papers. Of course you do have the option of doing the online classes. The staff cares about its students and their successes. Note of honesty... the pictures shown here from Corporate are just not this campus.

Even if you are not quite sure what you want to concentrate on they are there to guide you and give you the information needed. Never be afraid to ask questions. Strayer offers a variety of majors. There is always someone to help you along the way. Starting a new venture is an adjustment. Students come from different backgrounds. We are mothers' father's single household, caretakers and in the workforce. The first year one learns how to juggle your time. Everyone has a different study time depending on the needs of the family. Some study while children are doing their homework, others may get up early or stay up late. You must fine your place to maintain your studies. Many days will be harder than others but always remember this is your education and for whatever reason, you are doing this know you are important and never give up.
