Neal & I decided to check them out just in case they had some Hokie gear laying about for cheap. When you first walk in, sure enough there's a small section full of just Hokie gear, including player exclusive stuff (clothing that the student-athletes were provided to wear for practices, games, and just for leisure wear). They even had Tech sneakers in the school's colors, although the sizes were huge. Of course, since Collective is basically a thrift shop, they offered many things besides Hokies gear. There is plenty of clothing (I found some Polo stuff priced at a steal!), a lot of sneakers, and even movies in VHS format. The most impressive find, though, was a pair of the Nike SB Dunk Low Travis Scott. That sneaker was highly sought-after when it dropped in Feb. 2020, so this pair in 11.5 went for a few hundred dollars (which is actually much less than you'd find at a reseller) - pretty cool to see it in Blacksburg. In the back, Collective has a small arcade game - NBA Jam. Since the machine is free, Neal and I played for a few minutes. I began to remember late nights playing NBA Jam on the SNES - memories. Collective is small - its size lends itself to a quaint boutique. They are full of stuff, though, and their prices are low to reasonable.
