Plant Wasted is purposeful with their ingredients and supports local vendors which I love! Everything is so fresh, and menu items like wellness bowls and sandwiches/toast are made to order (which can entail longer wait times but is well worth it!) Despite not being marketed as a cafe, I believe Plant Wasted might just have the best coffee in the area. Juices are fresh pressed and packed with flavor, nutrition, and whole foods. Some of my personal favorites include the Born for Leavin' Sandwich, which is spread with a decadent, garlicy hummus, the scrapyard spring rolls, and the Vibin' w/ Michelle smoothie bowl topped with their rich hazelnut spread! The customer service was also lacking. The staff didn't greet me when I walked in or ask if I needed help. They seemed rushed from the start and didn't make me feel welcome. While making my smoothie, the employee worked so quickly it felt like she was trying to shoo me out the door. For the price, I expected much better quality and a friendlier atmosphere. Unfortunately, both the drink and the service missed the mark. I won't be coming back and can't recommend it unless things improve.
