This gas station has two main issues : A manager with a…read moredrinking problem and a area supervisor who doesn't care. Ever notice they are always hiring..... well let me tell you why I come to the gas station regularly for the last couple years at evening/ night and the store has had some really good workers. They are friendly and sociable and do their job well. And then they quit, often . They are overworked on thirds from second shift doing nothing. Whenever they need help with cashier issues the manager never answers her phone. We've sat in line while one employee couldn't get access to the cash register and the manager kept sending the phone calls to voicemail until one of us called her from a number she didn't know . Guy 1: quit because he had another job and couldn't work over his hours and Sara didn't show up to replace him for work. Guy 2 : frustrated that Sara asked him to cover a shift and she didn't show up to replace him. Guy 3: Sarah showed up drunk with a friend to the gas station after he got stuck working a second and third shift. Girl 1 : was pregnant and needed coverage for a few different shifts she was sick during and Sarah didn't answer her phone but showed up later drunk and ignored her. One of the customer went to meijer and got her some meds to help out . Also reported issues to Ryan who ignored the whole situation. Girl 2 : hours weren't correct for her check and Sara refused to fix them because the employee called her out for not showing up to train a new employee . Girl 3: too many hours and being left on multiple shifts because of no shows and Sara not answering the phone . Guy 4: luckily had previous training because no one showed up to help train him on thirds . He quit Becuase anytime he needed help he couldn't get it from her. This continues on so every couple weeks there are new employees . You'd think corporate would be concerned enough to audit and check in with all the people who quit but nothing . I'm impressed that after all that no one sees a pattern of bad management . Oh well, at the new gas station will look better than it'll be managed . Yep

Even after we went to the restroom and bought our water, we ended up looking at some of the items the store had to offer. This gas station definitely felt like a touristy stop, like the ones you go to on road-trips to stretch your legs and enjoy a moment of silliness. Restroom was clean, employee behind the counter was friendly and the options for food/drinks were plentiful. If you're nearby this Sunco, I'd stop in for your road-trip snacks or for a toilet break.

On this particular day we were early getting items for a picnic at the water and were able to catch the sushi shaft in the deli area and were made fresher than fresh California rolls. He was friendly, prompt and made our experience at Meijer a little more elevated today.

The first shift guy (sorry I didn't catch your name) helping me this morning was super friendly, & very apologetic for the fact that the computers kept going on & offline. I usually pay with my card but had cash on me today, which was a good thing because the computer system was not allowing card payments. This Mobil has a great location, & they did recently update the pumps & asphalt but the inside of the store needs a face lift & the computer system needs help. Very slow & it tends to be a pain for the workers as well. Ohh & the 3rd shift crew is seriously the best, when it comes to customer service! Great job you guys.

I have used West Side Service for almost 25 years and I'm happy to tell you…read more what a great place to get your auto repaired. Last week my wouldn't start and I called my auto emergency for help. Sam came and tried to start my car with no luck. I decided to have it towed to West Side Service and as Sam was trying to load it some rust fell off the underside. I told him to tow it over to WSS and let Mary take a look. Within 20 minutes I got a call from Mary saying the undercarriage was so rusted that they'd never get it on the hoist. In the meantime, Sam said he'd take it to his place and Mary told him No! She knew I had personal items that I'd want to get out of the car and Sam told her I could come get them at his business which was stupid because he's on 32nd Street. She immediately called me while he was standing there and told me what he wanted to do. I told her no way and she told him no, again, while she was on the phone with me. She said she didn't trust him and he was up to something. That was good enough for me and I told her to do whatever she thought best. He did leave without my car and when she called me back she said if I could get her my title she'd call a couple of scrap places and get it sold. My son got all my stuff out and left my title. She called later to tell me she not only sold it but got one place to up the price by $25.00. This is why I love and trust this place. They always do the right thing by their customers. I had no reservations about letting Mary handling selling my car because she and her employees are so honest. She took all my worries into consideration and at 73, I never gave any of it a second thought. If you're looking for a trustworthy service for your car....go to West Side Service.
