I've been looking to replace our exterior light fixtures and post light for months and shopped everywhere but couldn't find what I was looking for until I went here. Vernon was real helpful listening to my needs and he offered his advice on my selections. He gave me pointers so I could choose the appropriate size and showed me items that could be bought online. They have a lot more choices there and even provided me with print-outs with the detailed specs of the models I chose. In the end, I purchased 4 exterior lights and a new modern ceiling fan. I will definitely shop here again when I'm ready to do more upgrading!

Cathy was knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. She knew the inventory in the store as well as everything available to order. Steered us toward an affordable and high-quality brand. She made the difference between walking away and being completely successful. Helped us order everything we needed, and it turns out everything was on sale! she was very invested in us finding just what we wanted in the right price point. I would recommend to anyone building or remodeling or just needing a new light or fan.

I stumbled upon Alloway last week while in the area recertifying my CPR/First Aid. Horrible me did not get the name of the very courteous lady who offered me some tips on Thursday, but Gabe was a great help for my wife and I last Saturday. After explaining and showing him pictures of our lighting situation at home, he offered a few choices on how to update our lighting to the best options. We did not ending up going through their catalogue options, but rather found pendants and a very unique chandelier hanging right in the showroom that suited our tastes. I can't wait until the order arrives so we can have a new look in our kitchen area. Pricing here will be higher than what you'll typically find in the box stores, but it's worth the extra pennies to have that one on one tailored approach and better quality in a product you are not changing out on a weekly basis.

It was refreshing to have someone answer the phone and then provide and quotation in a timely manner. Larry had to special order our lights and kept in constant communication with status updates. When the lights arrived, he came out promptly and installed. We also have a very high roof peak that I wanted to skip in order to keep the costs down (this may be the only year that we put lights on this house), but when we had the lights up it just didn't look right.
