There's a wide array of local farmers, craftspeople, and prepared dishes to peruse and buy from. Everyone is very accommodating and knowledgeable in their craft. I especially appreciate the farm fresh milk options, the spices and sauces offered, and the local bakeries. They also do a winter market at the local high school, so they have markets still going on. There are also, pumpkins, peppers and pears that I saw. The apples are all clearly marked by type. I saw two coyotes running loose around this orchard today, they didn't seem interested in any fruit or people. The woods are right by the wired fence, I'm sure bears and deer also pop by. I enjoyed this orchard that's easy to navigate and has a good amount of apples and juicy raspberries for picking.

During the fall I always get my apple cider from here and they even have hot samples on site. And we especially enjoy the garlic! It's much better than what you get in the grocery store. The woman who runs it also provides many free recipe cards! If you're in the area definitely check this place out. It's great to support small family run businesses like this one. Good produce too for those that aren't quite as ravenous for the bleeding flesh of local bovines. They've got most every steak-worthy cut - Tenderloin, Ribeye, Sirloin, Skirt, T-bone, etc. Burgers and Chorizo too. Their website states that their cattle are fed by both grass and grain, and are allowed to forage about the farm during their lives. So while their meat may not be labeled with any marketing-stunt nutrition buzzwords to make you think it's healthier, the cattle are clearly treated well at JT. You have the option of fresh or frozen, no change in price if I'm not mistaken. The frozen stuff is never held fresh for more than five days before freezing, and absolutely everything is vacuum sealed. Prices are good - I would say approximately on par with non-sale supermarket prices. But you'd expect that for meat this local and fresh. It's worth the extra few dollars and cents, right? "Right," you should be saying to yourself right now.
