After my plumber retired, I had a series of experiences with plumbers who were unable to correctly diagnose a problem and in one instance caused my tankless water heater to develop a continuous drip that wasn't there in the beginning. Then John White Plumbing was recommended by a friend and I am completely delighted with their service! They are family owned and many of the master plumbers have worked there for years. The John White plumber who came to fix the dripping tankless water heater was quickly able to stop the leak and replace a minor part all for a very reasonable price. Since then, John White plumbers have replaced a toilet (great problem solving done by the master plumber and management to accommodate my small bathroom and my personal needs), checked filters, diagnosed and corrected drainage problems and replaced main pipes between two condos in our community. Our HOA now uses them. I so respect the knowledge and expertise that not only each plumber has but also the entire front office staff who is most helpful as well. I also very much appreciate that each plumber as well as the staff is willing to explain what they are going to do so that I understand and feel more comfortable about the work being done. I have complete confidence and respect for the work that John White does. I am so glad that I found them. read more

Had a amazing experience with John white plumbing! I was having some issues with my toilet not flushing and after a couple of days of me pretending to be a plumber with a plunger and my arm turning into a spaghetti noodle I reached out to John white plumbing they were professional from start to finish! Initial phone call I was greeted by a lady named Adriana who ensured me everything was going to be okay and they sent a drain tech Israel out who was absolutely professional and knowledgeable he had my toilet functioning in no time! Pricing was extremely well and I wish I would have called sooner! John white plumbing has definitely earned a longtime customer and I highly recommend to anyone that is in need of plumbing services. read more

Excellent, and fast work, the powder room sink was slightly slow draining for the past few days, with a bit water that wasn't going down, but after it was rootered everyting is perfect, and a reasonable price , and very nice technician, Manny. read more

Leaking shutoff valve. Excellent and fast service and straightforward hourly rate. None of this we come out and give you a price nonsense. This is the way. Will use for other plumbing needs too. read more

I've used John White Rooter Connection a few times for different properties and have always been happy with their service. We have had an ongoing water hammer issue at our property that we could not figure out. Oscar was able to get to the root cause of the issue with his visit, and I am so appreciative he was able to figure out something that other plumbers might have recommended a more expensive (and not as effective) solution. I'll continue calling them for any plumbing issues. read more

I would say 3.5 stars but I'll upgrade to 4 to give them the benefit of the doubt. First of all, they are great at same day service with one caveat... This is one of those last minute emergency plumbing companies. Excellent at handling stuff like back ups, minor leaks. I haven't used them for anything complex, but from my conversations with some of their plumbers - at least some of them are very experienced and know what they're talking about. Their pricing is reasonable even for overtime. But here's the caveat which caused me a lot of upset. Unfortunately, if you have a LATE NIGHT emergency, they simply don't show. I had a plumbing issue once at 9 pm - late, but not exactly middle of the night. Anyway, I called them. A lady did answer and assured me somebody would be out. 11 pm came, no one ever called me. Called the lady again and she had no idea what was going on. By 2 am I had to get to bed and then at 9 am the guy called me ready to come. It was a miserable night because they dropped the ball. If they could not accommodate something so late, they shouldn't have said they would. So be careful about calling them late at night. But for early evenings, weekends - yes they will show. read more

They always show up as promised and take care of the issues quickly and professionally, and at a fair price.

I've used John White plumbing for years but recently had a very poor experience with their plumbing division. I have a rental and had asked the plumber to call me when he was at the house so we could go over details of the job. I never received a call from the plumber and he didn't take care of all the issues at the house although I had listed them when I placed the order for the job. I called the John White office to discuss this and spoke with Colleen who promised to have the plumbing supervisor call me. I called three times with no return call from the supervisor. I am so disappointed with this company. What poor customer service and lack of communication. read more

They were hired by me to change 14 water valves under my sinks and by my toilet, The Bill was over $900 and add 3% to charge, They put on a $10 gas surcharge while gas prices are the lowest in 2 years as well as charged $340 for this 14 valves that probably cost them less the $100. The work was done well but certainly not at a fair price. read more

Sad to say, after over 14 years as a loyal customer, and giving them many referrals, I am having to line up other options. Between September 2024 and November 2024, their service call jumped from $140 to $225, in one swoop. Additionally, I had my credit card on file. They charged it without ever providing an invoice (with the new $225 service fee). I've revoked my authorization of them being able to use it. read more

I have been using John White's Rooter Connection for years and have always recommended them to anyone looking for an awesome and honest plumber. I recently had the chance to use them again when the plumbing at my dental office backed up and I needed an emergency plumber. John and his crew understood how urgently we needed someone as it's hard to see patients when the lines are backed up. I had someone here within an hour. We were so grateful! Huge thank you to John and his amazing team. If you're looking for a good plumber with reasonable prices and a great work ethic, look no further than John White's Rooter Connection! read more

Once again we needed John White in an emergency situation and they were there for us. Brian and Oscar did a tremendous job, not only fixing the immediate problem but also identifying an issue that other plumbers missed and should have fixed many years ago that could have done substantial damage to our home. That alone probably saved us thousands of dollars. Not only that, they are a family owned business, so it feels great to give them our business. Finally, John's daughter, Colleen, is a delightful person. read more

Simply the best! Cannot recommend John and his crew highly enough. Israel is a gem. It is rare to find such consistent, honest people in LA!

We were getting our sewer line inspected and the 1st company that came out couldn't find it, literally. John White came out and found it buried under 6 inches of dirt and plants and a giant cherry tree. Amazing. We would've had a hard time closing escrow without them. read more

I am a Realtor and have used John White for sewer line inspections for about seventeen years. They are honest, reliable, and a great value. Recently, a client received a bid from another company for a project that we thought was too expensive. I sent the video to John White without the bid, so they could give us an impartial number. The original bid was $22,000, and entailed digging up the street. The folks at John White suggested another way and brought the price in at $12,000. I highly recommend using John White for all your plumbing needs. read more

Israel was great as always on time and efficient John White plumbing is great and continue to use them for all plumbing needs

I had a terrible experience with this company they came to our business over charged the job with small job in a short time and didn't even respond to our complaint so not recommending to any one !! read more

Have used them a number of times. There staff are pro efficient and knowledgeable. The issue is that they keep charging more on every visit and now they also squeeze us for a gas surcharge. Very poor outcome as they are expensive for drain cleaning and now the are finding more ways to gouge there commercial accounts. Will be using them less from now on. read more

We've been using John White's Rooter Connection as our plumber for over 15 years. John Whites is simply the best. When I moved to California and into my home, the sewer backed up. I called one of the heavily advertised rooter companies and was told I needed to replace the pipe from my house to the street...at a cost of over $10,000. Thinking I should get a second opinion I looked for a neighborhood plumber and White was the closest. They came over, looked at the line with their camera and told me I had some roots that needed to be cut out. $200 or $300 later all was fixed. They now come every six months to keep the line clear I have called them on Thanksgiving day when my disposal backed up and they arrived a hour after my call. They are always available for emergencies, on weekends, whenever. They put in my hot water heater... they can do it all . I highly recommend them. read more
