The entire office (including restrooms) were very clean; the front staff was polite and helpful, as well as the M.A. who did my vitals and EKG was professional yet friendly. Then Dr. Christine Browning, MD arrived; she was quite friendly and had a great sense of humor- which was refreshing- because I'm a former Navy Hospital Corpsman and retired Paramedic with a personality somewhere between comedic and provocative... She actually found a serious issue and set me up with testing right away. I'm glad she put up with me. I'd recommend this practice in a heartbeat! (Pun intended!) Thanks, Doc!

It's very confusing to go from one NP or PA to another for an issue to get settled. Although it was a lot of trouble to change, I want to see a doctor for my heart issues without making a big deal. I also did not like Accuhealth for taking daily blood pressures. Now, I have a nurse that calls me every month to discuss what is going on and make connections for me if an appointment is necessary. I realize medical care is different than a few years back so sometimes you have to take the initiative and be active in your personal healthcare.

My surgical procedure took longer than expected, but he did a terrific job with my neck. I did not experience any nreve pain post procedure, and the feeling in my hands along with all the neck pain was resolved. No complications at all after the surgery. Dr. Gocke greeted me the next morning with profuse apologies for the surgery taking so long. Wow. How nice was that? He explained all of the procedure to me, which I was absolutely fine with. I've seen him a couple (few?) times over the years for my long-term, ongoing back issues. He is prompt, explains everything efficiently, and speaks to you like a human. I appreciate all of that in a doctor, and as such I will continue to see him for my orthopedic care.

She laughed at me over the phone and said the doctors couldn't help me. Please note that I went to a different doctors office this morning who helped me with my issue and when I told her about my experience here she was shocked. Extremely rude service speaking with one of their nurses. Other than that, just your average doctors office. Most of the doctors are older and bring you in and shoo you out in 15 minutes or so. Unless you have to wait a while to get blood work done.

My father sees NP Kim Plummer. My father is 76 years old with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. In November of 2022 he got very ill with a virus (dangerous for a cancer patient) & ran around 103 degrees fever for three days while we tried to get in touch with NP Plummer. After the fourth day, we finally got a phone call back (after talking to the answering service in Ohio). She told the answering service to give her about 30 minutes to call my mom back (she was the on-call doctor & it was 6am. We were ready to take him to the hospital). When she finally called, she told my mother, in a very impatient manner, that she had already called in a prescription for my dad two days ago. No one in the office, including NP Plummer, took time to inform my mother of this. When mom told NP Plummer no one had informed us, Plummer's response was "I did my part". Apparently, bedside manner was not a course she took in medical school. Don't go here. Not only is she dismissive and uncaring, but the office is completely unorganized and obviously has communication problems.

He treated me during pregnancy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone! Love that he's in the Bon Secours network. I'm talking no credit card machine old school. They have to manually enter everything, so I just paid my copay with cash to make it easier.

Came here for my first physical in years, figured I was overdue for one. Dr. Kent took care of me…read morefairly well, and he was very straightforward in his approach which I greatly appreciated. Dr. Kent was one of my options as a member of the Anthem Healthkeepers section of Bluecross, and he had quite a lengthy service record as a physician, so I opted for him. His office was very quaint, didn't look like a doctor's office from the outside at all. Parking was easy, and the front desk employee was pleasant enough. They asked me to call my insurance company later to have Dr. Kent listed as my PCP, though when I did so later I was told that that was unnecessary and that Dr. Kent would definitely be properly compensated regardless; I get the feeling that many of Kent's patients have been a little problematic in terms of payment based on the way the employee approached the situation. I didn't have to wait very long at all before Dr. Kent came to get me. We went through the process of taking my history and basic measurements, though he did seem a bit rushed in doing so; his explanation was that one of his nurses wasn't there that day, so it's understandable I suppose. After that I was whisked down the hall to do the usual fluid tests and that process was about what you'd expect from a place of this nature, though they did it very expediently. Returned to Kent post-tests a few minutes later and he saw nothing of note on my lab results. Need to lose a little weight, though I was well-aware of that before I came in (if you see all my restaurant reviews on here, it shouldn't be any surprise that I have gained a few pounds!). A few days later, he called me back with the additional lab results and told me that everything checked out and that he wished me much luck in the future as I would likely not have to return for a year or two. Overall, he seemed quite nice and well-informed and I would likely return to him for another yearly checkup or if I was experiencing general problems. I'd take him over PatientFirst anyday! Overall: 4.0 stars ----------- Pros: - He has lots of experience, he's straightforward, and he's attentive. - Easy parking. - Very short wait, and your visit probably won't take too long. Cons: - Admittedly, I did feel rushed through the history-taking process. If there had been something wrong with me, I would have been a bit worried that he might have missed something. - The practice has a very informal feel to it, though it doesn't really detract from the quality of care you're receiving.

He's got a great sense of humor and he's easy to talk to. He really listens to you and provides excellent advice based on a conservative approach (ie. therapy before surgery). I don't ever feel like he's just prescribing me something to shut me up or make his drug reps happy. I've never had a hard time getting an appointment and every other doctor he's given me referrals to have been great as well. Best. Doctor. Ever. Seriously, I can't say enough good things.
