My Glendale dentist and the staff closed shop so I had to find another dentist that takes my insurance. I asked my specialist who has an office in Burbank, and he recommended Dr. Asano. I definitely like Dr. Asano, so I'm going to stay with him. He's very professional and he explains stuff to you in such a way that I understand. He has a small, clean, and boring waiting room so thank goodness I had something to read. The dental work area was clean. I noticed that he had A LOT of interesting equipment that my previous dentist didn't have. The hygienist was okay. I've had several different hygienists, and some are definitely much better than others. What do I look for? Someone who's thorough when they clean my teeth. They are open on SATURDAYS!! The best dentist ever. I have been coming here for I think 7 years now and they have always made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I have seen Dr. Asano and recently I am seeing Dr. Kiki more. I have a lot of trauma with dental work due to procedures I've had done by different practices in the past, so I can get very nervous. Here, they always check in about how you are feeling and give frequent breaks. I had a teeth-whitening treatment here about a year ago and my teeth are still so much whiter than they were before. I also had 5 cavities filled last week and Dr. Kiki made sure I had a great experience. My jaw tends to cramp because of TMJ but she was so considerate. They are super thorough here and take pics of everything to track progress. Everybody who works here is kind and a joy to talk to. The staff also send text reminders for appointments which is very helpful. Highly recommend to everybody in the community!! read more

I'm a senior who has been with this husband/wife team for more than 2 decades. Stacy is a hygienist, so unlike cheaper HMO dentists grinding at accumulated tartar with a polisher, she efficiently picks & scrapes it away from between my crowded teeth. Dr has installed a few caps in my mouth as well as fillings, & they now have a 'state-of-the-art' crown sculpting machine which allows you to get yours on the same day. They have several ion & filter air cleaners to keep dust & microbes down. BYO reading material (unless you like Golf, Car & Driver, Entertainment & Women's mags), but they don't make you wait long for your appointment. read more

After many years wandering in dental hell among incompetents, shameless upsellers or both, my wife and I were both very fortunate to find Dr. Asano's office through a referral from a workmate. Not only does this office do outstanding dental work, the office consists of outstanding people. It is basically a family business but it seems like the type of family that anyone would be proud to be a member of. Very hard-working operation consisting of people who seem genuinely happy to serve the community through their professional skills. Another great thing about this office is the way hygienist-office manager Staci knows our dental plan backwards and forwards, and can (legitimately) play this meager plan to maximum advantage like it was a Stradivarius. Dr. Asano's office is the last old school family dentist, which I have been a patient for 15 years or more and they have done so many treatments for me! It starts with a very pleasant and friendly phone call from Carla or Yuki's reminder. For cleaning, I have fun conversation with Staci. She is always willing to learn what I (and my husband) have been up to. When having a treatment, Dr. Asano is very polite and answers my detailed questions. Staci and Carla have been super helpful with my insurance paperwork. You can tell that they do care about you and treat you like a family member.
