I was a "hard client" given I only needed one nail repaired (Tap Gel) and a color that may not exist at all salons. I called Nova ahead of time and they scheduled me for an apt that day. I was helped by Ping and she was hands down the best. So knowledgeable, friendly, good vibes. I should've started at nova but as Ping said, better late than never. It was clearly rushed considering I had nail polish on my skin. The lighting is very relaxing but I did not even notice how uneven, jagged, and bubbly the polish was until I was on my way home due to it being so dim in there. I had a wedding that evening and didn't have time to go back to ask them to fix it. When the polish came off after 2 weeks, my nails were very brittle and thin to the point where I had to cut them all the way down. I have gotten gel for years and have never had an issue with this. They used a drill to remove the gel that was previously on my nails. I think they may have drilled too much off. The polish stayed on, which was great, but it wasn't worth how the nails looked immediately after the appointment or when I took the gel off.

They always have 5-7 technicians working there and it seems to be very busy on weekends. So if you walk in on Saturday or Sunday you will likely have to wait. Book it in advance! At other salons, i used to have to wait 5-15 minutes even with an appointment... but here, it never happens. When I check in I usually sit down right away. For the last few visits, Winky did my gel polish and she is very thorough, detail oriented and a perfectionist. Everyone here gives me undivided attention most of the time. I'm so used to seeing nail technicians talking on the phone, chatting or streaming videos while they work on my nails. So seeing them dedicating all the focus and energy to me feels nice.
