The problem with being a first-time home seller is that you don't know what you don't know. It's a very involved process with lots of moving parts. While interviewing several realtors, my friend (who just sold her house with Brittney) had recommended Brittney to us, citing her unrelenting work ethic and attention to detail throughout the entire process as two of her best assets. Over the next week, Brittney dedicated several hours over the phone and in person to discuss the entire process with us and guide us through the steps to prepare to list our place. I was immediately impressed with her insight into the local real estate trends and suggestions for small renovations to increase our home value prior to listing. While we were accomplishing these renovations, she worked diligently behind the scenes garnering interest in our townhouse through social media and word of mouth with her realtor friends and clients interested in purchasing in our area. We even had an interested party stop by before the initial "go-live" date due to her enthusiastic marketing. She arranged for a photographer to come through and take amazing professional pictures of the place (free of charge!), and used them for marketing purposes on all the major realtor websites as well as Facebook. Within three days of listing, we already had 5 offers--several above initial asking price. For anyone trying to sell a home, a bidding war between several buyers is a good situation to be in, and certainly helps to increase the final sale price! I have no doubt her work behind the scenes leading up to listing created the enthusiasm and excitement for the place, and eager buyers were ready to pounce. I cannot stress enough how effortless the process was on our end, made possible by Brittney's effort on her end. She handled the paperwork flawlessly. Brittney was seemingly available 24-7 to answer questions, make recommendations, update us on offers, or even for a friendly chat on unrelated topics. Although I'm sure we weren't her only clients at the time, her ubiquitous and individualized attention to us and to our townhouse certainly felt like we were her only priority. As we had moved out of town prior to finalizing the sale, she was gracious enough to take the time to stop by our place to tidy up before inspection and spruce up our garden plants which had died after we left town. We hadn't even asked her to do this--she did it on her own volition, out of her own pocket, and we were truly grateful for her selfless attitude. That's the kind of personalized experience you can expect with Brittney. She's received numerous accolades for her outstanding and professional work, and she's certainly deserved every last one. Poor customer service all around. The sales team is fake. They do not back their warranties, they…read morerefuse to handle defects and issues with the house correctly. They talk down to you and insult you for having an inspection completed and believing the inspector. They give you the run around when they are confronted about their incompetence and are full of excuses. Rusted and corroded furnace cabinet in a new build house where no one has moved in yet. Builders report furnace is "new" and refuse to replace. Customer service is total crap, not easy to work with, and insulted the buyer and their family. This house is the 3rd house within 8 houses of new builds that have major defects. Items noted in the inspection report seem to be from poor quality and installation procedures. Many errors with cabinets, windows, plumbing, hvac, and cosmetic items. MI and builders were approached regarding and refuse to handle appropriately, do not provide adequate and reliable paperwork, and do not follow through with compliance. Very poor communication from management.
