I would give zero stars if that was an option! I would not…read morerecommend this doctor to anyone. I went to him in fall 2024 for pain in my right foot, and after inserts didn't help, he recommended a "state-of-the-art" bunionectomy. He repeatedly told me I was healing perfectly, even though my pain never improved and actually continued to worsen. Over the next year, he dismissed my concerns, relied only on in office X-rays using an ancient X-ray machine and kept insisting everything looked "great" and that o was healing "ahead of schedule". When the pain continued, he suggested injections that did nothing. By the time I went in for a third injection, one of the screws from the surgery had started pushing out through the top of my foot. He and his nurse still dismissed my pain and blamed me for getting the injections he recommended as if it was my fault. After seeking second and third opinions, other surgeons confirmed the screws were placed at the wrong angle and one wasn't even fully inserted. My bone healed incorrectly because of this, causing more pain and a big hump at the base of my big toe. The injections also caused the skin over that area to become permanently thin--something my new doctor says will likely cause lifelong discomfort. I've now had to undergo a second surgery to remove the screw that was coming out of my foot, insert the other screw fully as it was not inserted correctly during the initial surgery, correct the bone, and "shave the hump" on the top and side of my foot. Because of all this, I am currently non-weight-bearing, stuck in a wheelchair, unable to work, and unable to leave my house due to stairs. I'll be homebound for at least three weeks until my follow-up. This entire experience has caused unnecessary pain, lost income, permanent changes to my foot, and a major corrective surgery that should never have been needed. I strongly recommend finding a different provider. If you need surgery, go to an orthopedic surgeon NOT A PODIATRIST, especially not this one! -Kelly Dossey Wilson

My expected "return to work" was 12-14 weeks. My recovery was such that I could return to work 10 weeks after the surgery! Would recommend this group (Dr AND staff) to everyone.
