We eventually came to the conclusion that she was not a good fit for me or my family. Right away, all of the hygienists that we knew and liked were replaced or moved on. Even the wonderful receptionist, Donna, is gone now. Dr Erica and her staff do not listen to patients. I feel like we were always being encouraged to do expensive treatments that might not have been necessary. Also, I declined to have a certain procedure done during routine cleanings. Every time I came for my checkup, the hygienist would lecture me and try to twist my arm into doing the procedure even after I politely and repeatedly declined. When I raised the issue with Dr Erica, she was dismissive of my concerns and continued to try to coerce me into a procedure I didn't want. I did not feel as if she respected me or my wishes, so we have moved on to another dental practice.

He offers a few things that help for dental anxiety, which was cool. I slipped and fell a little over a month ago, landing on my face and needed a lot of work to get my front teeth fixed. I called first thing in the morning after this happened and Dr. Denis was able to take me in right away. After assessing my situation, he began work on my smile immediately. He made me feel so comfortable, I was nice and numb while he was working on me (my first visit took almost 3 hours). I was very upset about what had happened to my teeth and he put me at ease, explaining that he was going about helping me the same way he would if it was his wife in his chair. I've had about 5 visits in the past month and a half, with at least 2 more to go, but I'm looking as good as new. I recommend him to everyone I meet. Even friends who live in the city I tell to come down to the suburbs and see him. He has really made a situation that could be so painful and ugly be somewhat easy and comforting. Around June 2022, I went in for mild tooth pain and Dr. Dabbour took x-rays. After he performed the exam, he explained that a root canal was my "only option" and the procedure would cost over $2500. Fortunately, I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and it turned out to only be a very small cavity that was easily filled. I called the office and complained about the unnecessary root canal recommendation, but the doctor never bothered to call me back. Incompetence or a scam? BEWARE of expensive procedures at this office. If they say "root canal", get a second opinion.

After I was no longer covered by my parents insurance had to wait a while to get my own through my employer. Unfortunately, I then found out they didn't take said insurance. So I set up an appointment, tail between legs, and braced myself for the bad news. Only 2 cavities!! In over 6 years!
