She truly cares for her patients, and you never feel rushed when talking to her. Most of the nurses and NP's are great. I've had a few frustrating experiences. Mostly, with the nurses, and some of the NP's (Christy and Jane), seeming a little disconnected and uncaring. As far as the other NP's, Shalea, and the newest one (can't remember her name), are extremely wonderful. Overall, the practice as a whole (and Dr. Medford) are worth it!

I have used Dr. Walsh as the Pediatrician for all of my children. She is kind, and wonderful with…read moremy girls and most importantly a brilliant peds Dr. She has always worked with my insurance even though it has changed nearly a dozen times and they always get us in ASAP.

Dr Walsh is an excellent doctor. However, her scheduling policies won't allow me to give more than…read moretwo stars. My daughter has sinus and ear infections regularly. If she is not running a fever, the nurse discourage me from bringing her in. Twice I have had to request an appointment against the wishes advice of the nurse. Both times Dr Walsh has examined her an explained that she was a very sick baby. Additionally, the appointments are scheduled early in the morning. I drive 90 miles because my town does not have a pediatrician. That doesn't matter to the office staff. I am expected to be at their office, usually within 2 hours of my call. So, I have learned to get in the car and start driving, then hope that there is an available appointment. Then, when I arrive I always have at least a 30 minute wait after my schedule d appointment. My time is not respected. However, I called in because I was stuck on the 2 lane highway behind slow moving traffic. I explained that I would be late. I was told not to be more than 15 minutes late. I arrived at exactly 15 minutes after my appointment, and my appointment was cancelled. The office staff on the phone was rude and inconsiderate when I called, and were rude and inconsiderate when I arrived. I have tried twice to change pediatricians because of this. Both times I was rejected by the new doctors because they were in the same medical group. Dr Walsh will give you a very good five minutes of time with your sick child, but is it worth it?
