I would like to provide information about this company that I tried to rent an apartment through. The property was nineteen forty three dot ave in dorchester.1943dotave dorchester ma. The building is brand new and beautiful.However. I viewed a studio apartment which the young lady arianna was very nice. However, I had to do an application and they use a third party company called two dots. I went back and forth with this company.For a week and so did my sister, who was the cosigner of my application my sister owns a million dollar home in connecticut and has plenty of money in retirement.In mutual funds. I make more than enough money to afford the rent.In this studio apartment, which was eighteen hundred dollars a month i went back and forth with them with two weeks, always something wrong with the site, always something wrong with two dots.Verifying can't verify my social I.Uploaded a picture of my social security card.I uploaded every paste of I connected my bank account.I did everything they wanted me to do.And I still got denied for the apartment. This place is a fraud.Do not attempt to get an apartment from them.They will lie to you, lead you along.42 weeks to get your money to charge you for their credit inquiry.And then leave you hanging. I am going to report them to the better business bureau. These people are crazy. I am so disappointed in the service that I received Yeah the company, this company owns several or manages several buildings in several towns.In massachusetts, including quinzy doorchester rocksbury, south boston everywhere, and there are horrible people do not deal with them. Unfortunately, I'm dealing with the same issue as Mark C.'s review. There are so many smokers in the building (not outside) it's overwhelming. Especially when they gather in 1 apartment to smoke cigarettes or pot. I'm also asthmatic and now partially disabled where I can't escape from it as easily as a few months ago. Memos were issued to no avail. I believe the more they can get away with it, the more people will abuse this situation. read more

Don't rent at 420 Washington Mills in Lawrence MA. It's supposed to be a smoke free building but people smoke weed everyday and it seeps right through the thin walls. I have told the front office and property management many times. All they can do is put out letters and emails. They have no way to effectively enforce it. I have asthma and it makes me really sick. Oh and if you want to break your lease you have to give 60 days notice. Even though they can't enforce a non smoking policy. Not worth $2200 a month this place like all rentals is a complete ripoff. Worst apartment ever! If you are disabled or get any help for your rent because of a disability, STAY AWAY, especially, at The Ledges, in Weymouth. Manager, Carolyn Leonard, literally HATES people with any disabilities and starts tenant-on-tenant issues. Might look like a nice place to live, but it's not. 20Year old complex and no insulation, mold problems everywhere, and when I took my extra insulated curtains down, all the screws were rusted, so major water leaks, and problems in general. Corcoran has so many unprofessional, obtuse employees, so there is no way I would ever rent and I tell everyone that's looking to rent, to stay far far away from his places. Their only concern is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...Just need to warn anyone they discriminate, against and get away with all illegal actions. read more

Worst apartment living experience ever! Anywhere would be better than living at a Corcoran Managed complex. This one is a new building in Canton, MA for 55 and over. Overflow of trash everywhere, all maintenance issues are ignored, and management leadership is big on retribution. Stay far away. read more

I reached out to Corcoran Management about an issue with one of their properties, Quincy Commons (a leasing agent there yelled at me, read and responded to an email not addressed to him, and leased a unit I had paid a security deposit on to someone else.) The management company did not even apologize for the encounter, or even make any attempt to make it right... I'd rather pay double elsewhere than give this company my money! read more

I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the worst management company in the entire universe. I had my doubts before, but the way this company has managed residents (who they claim to consider "family" on their website) during the COVID pandemic has been despicable. I have never seen a less empathetic, caring bunch of people in my life. I reached out to their corporate office to air my grievances about a horrific experience at one of their properties, Parkside Commons (see my review of Parkside for details, and see all the other one star reviews for further proof of how awful that supposed "luxury" apartment "community" is). I was flat out ignored twice. And when I persisted with a third email, Virginia at the corporate office didn't even have the decency to directly reply to me. She instead rerouted me back to Jessica at Parkside, whose inept, dismissive, unsympathetic ways caused me the very frustration I was trying to complain about to corporate. Unbelievable! My whole experience with living at a Corcoran property was a super expensive, stressful nightmare, and the way in which they give their tenants the runaround and show that they want absolutely nothing to do with them once that lease is signed just proves that they're a greedy, unsympathetic company. read more
