After living here for three years, I can honestly say signing this lease is one of the biggest regrets I've ever made. I will not be renewing my lease, and I strongly encourage anyone considering this property to think twice before moving in. The glossy photos and promises from the leasing office do not reflect the reality of living here.
Safety has been the biggest concern from day one. During my time here, there have been multiple shootings directly outside my apartment window. Police are constantly responding to the property, fights regularly break out, and screaming and disturbances have become a normal part of everyday life. Walking your dog or taking your kids outside often means smelling marijuana throughout the property. This is not the kind of environment anyone should have to call home, especially families paying premium rent. No one should have to wonder if it's safe to walk outside after dark or let their children play outside.
The management team has been one of the biggest disappointments. The leasing office is consistently disorganized, rarely seems to know what is going on, and every concern is met with excuses, finger-pointing, or claims of "poor communication." There is little accountability, little urgency, and almost no follow-through. Once your lease is signed, it feels like resident satisfaction is no longer a priority.
Maintenance is unacceptable. Simple repairs routinely take weeks to address--if they are addressed at all. When ants repeatedly invaded my first-floor apartment, I reported the issue multiple times and was essentially told nothing could be done. The common areas are dirty, the hallways often smell terrible, and bugs are a recurring issue. If you live on the first or second floor, expect to hear every footstep from your upstairs neighbors because the walls and floors are incredibly thin. It is obvious the buildings were constructed with the cheapest materials possible, from the doors and lighting to many of the fixtures throughout the apartments.
It is also not uncommon to come across abandoned mattresses, overflowing trash, used condoms, discarded needles, and other disturbing items around the property. Drug activity appears to be an ongoing problem, making the community feel neglected and unsafe rather than professionally managed.
The amenities are just as disappointing. The trash compactor is frequently out of service, the pool seems to be closed more often than it's open because something always needs to be repaired, packages are routinely lost or stolen, and parking is an expensive nightmare. Residents are charged excessive parking fees, yet there is virtually no guest parking. If family or friends visit, they risk having their vehicle towed simply because there is nowhere reasonable for them to park.
To make matters worse, residents are forced to use the property's internet service instead of being allowed to choose their own provider. The internet is unreliable, slow, and nowhere near the quality you would expect while paying the amount of rent this property charges.
For the amount of money residents pay every month, you would expect a safe, clean, and professionally managed community. Instead, this property feels neglected, poorly maintained, and poorly managed. The constant safety concerns, lack of responsiveness, maintenance problems, excessive fees, noise, and deteriorating conditions make it impossible to justify the rent.
Living here has been an exhausting and frustrating experience from beginning to end. This community consistently fails to meet even the most basic expectations of apartment living. If you value your safety, peace of mind, hard-earned money, or your family's well-being, I cannot recommend this property under any circumstances.
Do yourself a favor--save your money, save your sanity, and rent somewhere else. There are far better communities that actually value their residents instead of treating them like another monthly payment. read more
